actually it depends what the goal is , to get much 84-88 fodder (like for an icon sbc) the 80+ is probably better value .

but to get very good players, the odds of this one are maybe not that bad , don’t forget it’s one of 4, not 3. You break even with an 86, that you probably get often .

No fodder? with the 3x83 you can do daily, the 4x gold upgrades to help them, etc? What do you want, that they also bring you a breakfast in bed?

about 100K is reasonnable, but I doubt he's much better as a CM than a striker unfortunately (and his 88 striker is barely 40K )

Been pléaying him for a few monthes. He's great, but I feel his price is more of a "price memory" thing, as he slowly goes down while there are better cards coming out for cheap. I still play him as I got him, but would change him for most new 90+ cb's without missing him.

(on the other hand , they give us so much free fodder that failing isn’t so bad ).

Got him in PP, a bit surprised he's 300K so guess he's really good. never played him and won't play for a few days, what makes him so good/expensive?

Did 4 of the last ones I think , two small wins (Carlos Alberto / Torres ), 2 total fails (Pirlo/Pires).

Probably not taking the risk anymore because there are too many positions where only a few players would really make my team (like I’m fine at ST with that Torres after doing Henry ), so will rather do kimmich/kante as I mostly need midfielders now .

But for those complaining about this sbc… it’s probably not worse than the previous one and the cost is the same , one extra choice probably more than makes up getting 87’s.

Got him in a PP... could he replace 89 Torres? his stats are slightly better.

There isn’t much else to do with duplicates …

It's really cheap and a great way to get rid of duplicates so I might do a few... but I don't see it as a huge win. You need to compare it to picks, so it's like 300K for pick out of 3, 400k with pick out of 4. Sure you get to keep the other ones but they'll be fodder... and we get no minimum rating.

He's probably good but LB's- Rb's are like the most frustrating position to open, because if you already have someone great there (I've Golazo Roberto Carlos), most other cards you get there are useless. With CB-CM-ST you can often play 2-3

Kane size is useful... I had papin then Kane, prefered papin, but they are so different

Slightly better with the new evolution. Wouldn't want to buy most of them to make them untradable, but it's a nice way to improve a "fail", and getting a choice even of 2 improve the odds of doing it

Rather a CAM or CDM in a 4-2-2-2? With 96 shooting it seems a waste to have him CDM and his defensive stats are good but not great, but I fear he would be too clunky

Which means it's much lower, as if you do the totw for like 10-15k (as you get two packs back with something in them..).

But even then it cost you 120K, which is maybe slightly too much. Could take him to replace or complete Maguire , as I've Reece james dynasty and Kane 93 they are not bad for links. Will wait for reviews too, hope he doesn't lack too much physical

Got kimmich (91 maybe improving soon) as a RB - RM in a 3-4-2-1. Would he be better?

Did my 3 now.... got a 85, a 86, a 89. Not that bad, got a bit lucky with the last one, but I would not be surprise if having at least an 85 is more the norm than the exception. And having a 88+ one out of 3 is maybe not that unlikely

The good comparaison for this would rather be the 83x10. which cost roughly the same (if you craft the totw and don't buy it of course). Here you get 3 of the best ones out of 12 83+, versus keeping 10/10. So the value is probably lower and you should do the 83x10 first, but you get slightly more chance at a good player there.

I opened him and was surprised he's so cheap... he might be a decent investment if he goes closer from 30K like the cheapest 88 IF's... he woul'd rise a lot if at some point he could get an evo, but maybe he got a bit too much pace for this

Well she's not 1.5M either . Not sure you should expect much better for 500K of fodder.

I already made 150K by trading a bit, it's quite easy for now, you can flip nearly anything (and many made way way more)

It's by far the year when we got the most free fodder, decent sbc's tha we can easily do for free, etc...

Expensive and probably an 83 generator, but maybe not the worst thing for duplicates .

Even if you do (and I don't even know how, but if a few hours of "work" is 35K, thanks but not thanks), you probably better have to use all that fodder to crafts something like an icon.

Could he be better as a CM? I prefer Kimmich on the side as I find he lacks in the Middle so I usually play in RWB/RM. It would means having Kimmich or James as a LWB/LM but it's maybe not an issue.

Actually it’s very possible that you soon get another evo where you can use the evolved 83, making it at least as good as this one .

Got him now in a 85 pick... I liked his 89, but surprised he's 500K, is he really so great? Wanted to evolve Goretzka IF to upgrade my midfield but it seems he'll take this slot.

You should get better players , because while of course you usually didn’t get 82/82/83 as your choices, you still had some 82 totw players , that you ignored to take the highest rated . They will be replaced by another player, increasing the odds of hitting a great player as the pool is reduced .
