EA FC 24 TOTW 4 Predictions

ByAaron
09-Oct-23 10:58

There are several players you will want to pack over the coming week should this prediction become reality with the likes of Hakimi, Valverde, Coman and 91 Hansen all looking probable to hit packs on Wednesday.

Manuel Riemann - GK - 77 > 81 OVR

Five saves and clean sheet  /  Leipzig 0 - Bochum 0  /  1 Kicker Rating

With just the one keeper making the side each week it has made it easier to predict. So far we have correctly predicted every keeper and I am confident to maintain that record this week with Riemann. The German made several top-quality saves to keep the score level

Federico Gatti - CB - 76 > 81 OVR

Goal and clean sheet  /  Juventus 2 - Torino 0  /  7 Gazzetta Rating

Although Gatti is a lower-rated option the fact he plays for Juventus likely helps his cause. The Italian scored one of the old lady's two goals as they recorded a comfortable 2-0 win over Torino with Gatti going on to receive MOTM.

Micky Van de Ven - CB - 78 > 85 OVR

Goal and clean sheet  /  Luton 0 - Tottenham 1  /  8 Sky Rating

Tottenham went to the top of the PL table after their win over Luton. It was anything but easy though after going down to 10 men during the first half with Bissouma seeing two yellows. EA have the opportunity to create one of the best CB’s in the game here with a featured upgrade to Van de Ven and it's an opportunity I doubt they will ignore.

Achraf Hakimi - RB - 84 > 86 OVR

Goal and assist  /  Rennes 1 - PSG 3  /  8 L’equipe Rating

Hakimi is already one of the best RB’s in the game so a potential upgrade for the Moroccan will likely be an expensive one. With a goal and an assist to his name, he is one of the best defensive options this week and thus should be included.

Kingsley Coman - RM - 85 > 86 OVR

Two goals  /  Bayern 3 - Freiburg 0  /  1 Kicker Rating

Coman picked up a perfect 1-match rating for his performance this on Sunday, scoring twice to help steer Munich to all three points. Able to play on either wing while also having strong links this IF won’t come cheap.

Sergej Milinkovic–Savic - CM - 86 > 87 OVR

Two goals  /  Al Akhdood 0 - Al-Hilal 3  /  9.9 Sofascore Rating

Al-Hilal were snubbed of an IF Koulabaly last week but this week they look to be nailed on with Milinkoiv-Savic. The Serbian played a huge role during their 3-0 away win on Saturday, scoring two of their three goals.

Scott Mctominay - CDM - 79 > 83 OVR

Two goals  /  Man United 2 - Brentford 1  /  10 Sky Rating

This could be a record for the last time on the field to still receive an IF. What an impact sub it was though with Mctominay coming on in the 87th minute while United trailed 1-0 the Scotsman scored twice to secure the turnaround. He found the net three times but one was ruled out. Sky awarded his cameo a perfect 10 for what is a performance we will likely never see again.

Caroline Graham Hansen - RW - 90 > 91 OVR

Brace  /  Barcelona (W) 3 - Sociedad (W) 0  /  9.7 Sofascore Rating

Barcelona seem to be the meta side this season with several players from both the men and female sides being highly in demand. Hansen’s NIF comes in at a costly 625k so you can only imagine what this upgraded version is going to come in at.

Federico Valverde - CM - 88 > 89 OVR

Two assists  /  Real Madrid 4 - Osasuna 0  /  9.4 Whoscored Rating

Bellingham shone yet again with a brace to his name but after featuring last week the IF won’t be going his way. Instead, we have both Valverde and Vini Jr to select from. I expect the former to get the nod after his two assists saw him also pick up MOTM.

Romelu Lukaku - ST - 84 > 86 OVR

Two goals  /  Cagliari 1 - Roma 4  /  7.5 Gazzetta Rating

Both Lukaku and Paredes impressed for Roma on Sunday but it’s the Belgian I expect to end up making the side. This is due to the lack of gold striker options in comparison to midfielders. Lukaku loves playing in Serie A and his performances there reflect that.

Serhou Guirassy - ST - 77 > 84 OVR

Three goals  /  Stuttgart 3 - Wolfsburg 1  /  1 Kicker Rating

The first SIF often gets snubbed a couple of times before finally getting in. With the form that Guirasy is currently on he deserves to obtain the first of EAFC. After just seven games the Guinea international is on a phenomenal 13 goals. How long can he keep up this magnificent goalscoring record?

Substitutes

James Tavernier - RB - 78 > 82 OVR

Two goals and clean sheet  /  St Mirren 0 - Rangers 3  /  MOTM

With the English links, Tavernier is always a popular addition to UT considering his league. The Rangers defender likely picks up his first special on Wednesday after scoring twice and keeping a clean sheet.

Thordarson - CDM - 66 > 80 OVR

Hat trick  /  Silkeborg 5 - Lyngby 0  /  9.6 Sofascore Rating

The league made this decision a difficult one when in reality it should have been easy. Thordarson scored three times from CDM while also helping maintain the Sileborg clean sheet. You don’t get many better performances than this one.

Denis Bouanga - LW - 78 > 82 OVR

Hat trick  /  Los Angeles 5 - Minnesota 1  /  9.7 Sofascore Rating

Bouanga is now a household name in the FC community with the Gabonese winger regularly featuring in promotions. His first of the year looks set to come in TOTW 4 after he scored three times from the left flank as LA won 5-1.

Louise Fleury - LM - 79 > 83 OVR

Three goals, one assist  /  Le Havre (W) 1 - Paris (W) 4  /  10 Sofascore Rating

With female TOTW options seemingly being limited to a couple per week I have to be very selective regarding including them. Fleury seems to be an obvious choice though having been involved in all four of Paris’s goals on Friday.

Hector Hernandez - ST - 68 > 80 OVR

Hat trick  /  Chaves 4 - Vicente 2  /  9.4 Whoscored Rating

I wish I was exaggerating when I said this could go to one of eight players but if anything that's the minimum. There were too many hat tricks for a side of 23 let alone 18 this week. I have opted for Hernandez who is in the best coefficient league division with EA seemingly giving preference to the bigger leagues.

Teemu Pukki - ST - 75 > 81 OVR

Four goals  /  Minnesota 5 - LA Galaxy 2  /  10 Sofascore Rating

A second addition from the MLS now with Pukki finding the net on four separate occasions. There are a ton of strikers missing out with three goals this week so a couple with four helps to narrow the selection process down.

Mathias Fetsch - ST - 62 > 80 OVR

Four goals  /  Unterhaching 4 - RW Essen 0  /  1 Kicker Rating

We have already seen one 4 goal performance snubbed this year and there are uncertainties surrounding what leagues EA are willing to award IF’s to this season. I can’t ignore Fetsch’s performance though, even with it coming midweek. Four goals should result in an IF regardless of the situation.
