Top 10 Pacey Winger Evolutions

Wednesday night saw the addition of two new Evolutions in Ultimate Team, Pacey Winger and Bruiser Full Back. We’ll focus on the Wingers today but don’t worry, full backs will be covered very soon! The Pacey Winger does what the title suggests and increases your wingers pace massively. Any player who fits the criteria will get a huge +8 Pace and an increase in other stats too! You can find all the requirements and eligible players here!

There are plenty of options to choose from but this Evolution does cost 50,000 coins or 1,000 FC Points, so be careful when deciding! We’ve picked out 10 of our favourites players we think would be a great fit for this Evo!

Malcom - Al Hilal

91 Pace, 88 Dribbling, 4 Star Skills and a Neymar perfect link. Is there anything else we need to say about this card? He’s been one of the most popular cards on site since this Evo has launched which must mean he’s very good. It’s a shame that we can’t evolve more than one player in each Evolution as Malcom would definitely be one to complete!

Matteo Politano - Napoli

Politano was a fan favourite in FIFA 23 with his Winter Wildcard which held 14 different player traits. Well he’s back for EA FC 24 but this time with just the 6 PlayStyles. PlayStyles make a huge difference this year and Politano possesses some of the most important (Rapid, Quick Step and Whipped Pass). A great Serie A option and in our opinion a must complete if you took Raspadori from the earlier Relentless Winger.

Alisha Lehmann - Aston Villa (W)

The right hand side of attack in the WSL is lacking a little bit with the best options being Mead and Kelly, evolving Alisha Lehmann adds a little bit more depth to the WSL attacking options and a great option if you’re a Villa fan. The 3 Star Skills are a bit of a let down but 86 Pace and Dribbling are very solid.

Lucas Vazquez - Real Madrid 

Lucas Vazquez defaults as a Right Back but don’t worry, he still has a lot to offer going forward, if anything playing him as a winger will be much more beneficial. Yet another player with 4*4* and the +8 in Pace takes him to near enough 90. The links Vazquez offers is one thing that can’t be understated, Spanish and Real Madrid links are huge and means you can easily build him into your team without losing any quality. 

Athenea - Real Madrid (W)

From one Spanish Real Madrid winger to another, this time moving over to their women's team to evolve Athenea. She offers slightly worse links than Vazquez but the Real Madrid links once again should be enough to fit her in the team. The main reason we’ve included her is the 5* Weak Foot alongside 89 Dribbling. These stats combined with the PlayStyles you gain from the Evolution (Quick Step and Rapid) will make this card very hard to defend.

Jessica Silva - SL Benfica (W)

This is by far my favourite card on the list, Jessica Silva what a player. She may only come out with an 82 OVR but we can ignore that and just pay attention to the stats. 91 Agility, 91 in game Dribbling, 90 Pace and the big one, 5 Star Skill moves! Now getting this card on full Chemistry will be extremely difficult as Benfica are the only club in her league and she is the league's best player, but she does look like an extremely fun card to test out!

Brahim Diaz - Real Madrid 

I can promise that after Brahim, there won’t be anymore Spanish Real Madrid players to feature! They just happen to have 3 of the best options! The 95 Balance and 93 Agility is what really pulled me in with this card, you’re not going to be able to take the ball away from him. 

Takefusa Kubo - Real Sociedad

Just a few days prior to this evolution being released, Kubo also received the La Liga POTM which is coming in at a very similar price. The stats do vary so be sure to check that out before deciding which Kubo to complete. The Real Sociedad man can not only operate on the wing, but also as a CAM and ST, which gives him that added edge over some of the other players. 

Maria Sanchez - Houston Dash

Maria Sanchez is our penultimate entry on the list and is definitely a great option if you need an attacker in those NWSL teams! 4 Star Skills, 93 Pace and 85 Dribbling can not be ignored. She also has the Power Shot PlayStyle in her locker which means once you’re through on goal, there’s no stopping her.

Dejan Kulusevski - Tottenham Hotspur

Gimme, gimme, gimme a ginger from Sweden. Our final recommendation for the Pacey Winger is Dejan Kulusevski and once again it’s a winger with 4* skills and great links. Kulu was certainly one who needed the Pacey Winger boost as he’s been increased from mid 70s into the mid 80s. Might also be a tidy option to choose if Son ends up winning POTM!
