Showdown
FUTBIN4321 was the most broken formation in FC24 and I just had to run it back. Its very different now because we have cams instead of cf. However, i have made this tactic built on all out attack. This tactic is fast, fluid and so much fun. Its all about tiki taka and fast transitions. Passing options that are completely undefendable.
Attack
The formation becomes a 4411 in attack, but due to having the cams on the specific roles , you end up with 3 strikers and its so easy to create chances.
- Playmakers attack and build up just means you have constant movement in and around the box
- Box to Box cm is going to make late runs into the area and just cause so many overloads on your opponents defence.
- You will score goals with any of your front 6 players.
Midfield
This is where this formation and these tactics come into their own.
- When in defensive shape, you have a 451 and the centre of the midfield is COMPACT
- When in posession, you have a crazy amount of passing options
- the midfielders are going to score an incredible amount of goals
Defence
I was astounded how this sets up defensively. When you are in your defensive shape its incredibly solid.
- Packed midfield to hold off the attack
- Fullbacks there to stop the wing play
- suceptible to counter, so remember to delay the counter rather than dive in!
- Counter - to force the AI to make attacking runs! You can moved to balanced if you want to play more patient football
- 61 depth - keeping the gap between the cms and cbs at a minimum.
Pros
- Crazy amount of passing options
- So many attacking runs and goalscoring opportunities
- Compact midfield to help seal out defensively
Cons
- Suceptible for a counters
- Instructions need to be changed to ensure seeing out close victories (2 dlp and 1 holding)
- Can be a little bit hectic at times with the counter instruction.
