FIFA 23 Team of the Season Mitoma Player Review

Finally! We can unlock Team of the Season Mitoma now the Premier League Upgrade packs have arrived!

So for those of you that are unaware, you can unlock this item by completing the ‘Craft to Glory’ objectives, which does require a bit of SBC/Pack grind, but it’s worth it right now - especially with so many Team of the Season items been packable in Bronze & Silver packs! I managed to pack TOTS Piergianni, Giles and Zinchenko while grinding the packs for this Mitoma, in the comments let us know if you managed to get some blues from these packs!

Starting XI

We started this Mitoma in a very solid Premier League themed team and his opening games were in the TOTS Cup Objective, after that, it was off to FUT Champions qualifiers for game time, and after 10 games he finished with a record of 10 Games (Shock) 8 Goals, and 7 Assists, a really healthy return from the winger!

In the opening games I actually used him with the basic chem style, but soon switched to the deadeye to help in the shooting department.

In-Game Notes

+ Dribbling was on point, the man with the degree in dribbling delivers in this area, super fluid, that 99 agility in game feels exactly that, ball control was incredible too.

+ Okay hear me out here, the tackling – it’s not perfect by any means but for an attacking player, he battled well and made dispossessing others look easy at times, if you run with a 352 formation, or a 5 at the back formation a LM/LWB role could be filled with this man.
+ Outside foot shot trait… if you know, you know.
+ The pace also deserves a mention because he is certainly quick in game the 99 acceleration allows him to go from 0 to 100 (or I guess 99) real quick.
- In terms of downsides to this item, there really isn’t any that ‘stand out’ because in general, it's a really solid item, but since it’s TOTS we’ve gotta be a bit more strict with the reviews, and because of that its fair to say his Shooting & Positioning although are decent, are definitely not on the same level as some other high rated wing options.

Is he worth it?

Yes he is absolutely worth it, it’s really not a difficult grind and along the way, there is a decent chance of picking up some extra Team of the Season items to either use in your team or...in a future SBC,

Whether he gets into your teams depends on your wing options already, like mentioned previously his Pace & Dribbling are top class, 10/10’s in those areas, but his Shooting output isn’t on that same level, so because of that there are better wide options available BUT...they do come at a higher cost…

I’m sure the question will come, is he better than TOTS Martinelli? … the answer is no, but there isn’t a whole lot between the two items, we’re talking marginal differences, Martinelli's goal-scoring ability just puts him ahead for me.
