FIFA Point Prices Have Increased

FIFA 23 players will have woken up this morning with a bit of a shock as they opened up the FUT store. FIFA Point prices have increased. EA Sports had published an article announcing the change but this wasn't shared on any social media platforms and still hadn’t been noticed by many FUT users.

Why Have FIFA Points Increased In Price?

The price change is being slowly rolled out by EA with UK PlayStation users being the first to be affected. The “Best Value” 12,000 FIFA Points were priced at £79.99 but will now set you back £87.99. We’ll be seeing these increased across all consoles and locations from June 1st.

EA Sports have changed the pricing as they “continue to see global economic fluctuations, including significant changes in currency valuation”. They’re working to balance prices of their live service content across all currencies globally. In short, the prices are increasing to reflect the current economic changes.

How Much Do FIFA Points Cost Now?

There hasn’t been a set change with each number of points but the price increase varies between 10 and 20%. Here are the new prices for FIFA Points in the UK.

100 £0.99
500 £4.49
1,050 £8.99
1,600 £13.49
2,800 £21.99
5,900 £44.99
12,000 £87.99

As mentioned these changes have only been noted by UK PlayStation users so far but we expect other consoles and countries to be affected very soon.
