Best CB I've used so far in FUT 18!

Got him for my Bundesliga-Team, paid 181k for him and haven't regret that since! He is the best CB I've used in that game - and I used to experiment quite often, really. I had Varane, Ramos, Chiellini and Ferdinand, for example. Got rid of all of them and built a Bundesliga-Squad. So much to the storytelling. Now for Boateng:

Even though he got downgraded he STILL is one of the top-notch-CB's in that game. He does Boateng-things. Things he's the only one capable of doing, really. His style of interceptions is one of a kind and he is literally EVERYWHERE on the pitch (in a defensive way of course). Complete defender.

He is no Sergio Ramos, means his style of play is not that risky; Med/Med workrates work really well for him. He has a great understanding of the game and whenever it's necessary, he will be up front trying to create chances. His passing is really good for a CB, which is helpful a lot of times.

He is an absolute beast defensive-wise.

Aggression: not too low, not too high. Seems perfectly balanced in-game.

Interceptions/Marking: also great. Had the feeling that many opponents underestimated him and his unique style of defensive-play. Like mentioned above he does Boateng-things, just watch him while playing and you will see what I mean

Pace: Not great, but good. He is one of the defenders I think it wouldn't matter that much when his pace was 64. He is just at the right place at the right time - most of the time. Doesn't really matter anyway.

Passing: Long passing's amazing for a CB, short passing's good as well - you could almost play him as a CDM as well.

Heading: Scored quite a few goals for me after corners. Great connection to the ball.

None, at least nothing relevant.

An absolute beast

Boateng is an absolute machine this fifa. I use him with the chemistry style Anchor, because it gives him a little bit of the extra pace he needs to stop the fast strikers, and it gives him the strength and jumping to play against the big, strong strikers. I also scored one of my most beautiful goals with him, form a corner with a volley.I still can't believe that if i press the tackle button on my control...

He's ridiculous

He is without a doubt the best defender I have tried so far. He has good pace so he can catch up to fast strikers, even if he is finding it hard to catch up his strength is ridiculous so will bully any player off the ball. His passing is essential as it means you can quickly play a lobbed ball to your attackers or midfielders to start up a counter attack.
