Excels at defense

I bought Petit for 416k just before his price dropped during the toty event. I played 44 games with him (39 in the weekend league and 5 in division 1), mostly in a 4-3-1-2 formation with him as a left back and, occasionally, in a 3-5-2 formation (as a CDM) when the matches didn't go my way. I used a Hunter chemistry style, just to boost his pace as much as I could and his shooting.

As a LB, one may think he lacks pace, but surprisingly for me, I didn't notice that much because he is great with interceptions and he always seems to be in the right place. Another good thing is his strength: when he's about to be beaten by quicker players, he can easily push those guys off the ball, so don't worry about that 80 pace. He's going to make it up for you with his phisicality.

As a CDM in the 3-5-2 formation, I noticed his presence (along with another CDM) made things really hard for my opponents. His tackling is amazing and he feels like a really composed player so you can make an accurate first pass with him to start the attack

The few times he was in front of goal, he wasn't that good. I haven't scored with him yet, but I didn't expect to score a lot with this card. I didn't notice his 86 shot power either.

Overall I felt he helped me A LOT these last matches, especially because I didn't suffer in the defensive end. Even playing as a LB, he was covering some gaps in the middle so when my CB made a wrong tackle, he was there to clean things up.

Great Card and I believe you can get it for less than 400k.
