I feel that the previous review has not done this man justice, that is why I am writing this review. You cannot judge a man after 4 games, I don't feel like I can after 30 games however I feel I have a slightly better idea over such a large investment. After sinking most of my coins into Del Piero SBC and reaping the benefits I had built myself up to 800k and was about to pull the trigger on the Van Basten SBC. As soon as Shevchenko was released I made the impulse decision to do that instead. After 30 games I am happy with my choice. And around 700k (again most of my coins) for such an excellent prime is outstanding. Let me break it down.
Games: 30 Goals: 76 Assist: 11 Chem: Marksman
Stats
Pace: In my opinion he is blistering. Next to Del P he pulls away very fast, and on top of that his strength means once at top speed he is difficult to stop. 8/10
Shooting: This is where I entirely disagree with the previous review. This is why you want Shevchenko, his shot is incredible. Much alike Del P, yet I find Shevchenko to be even more clinical. The shot power is what I think takes him to a next level and the ability to do it with either foot despite only being 4*. He is, for me at least a master of the 1v1, especially with the low driven shot and low driven finesse. 76 goal in 30 games says it all. 10/10
Passing: I would say this element of his attack is poor. His quick, close quarter 1-2's are acceptable but anything more and he will struggle. I rely on Del P to thread it onto the on-running Shevchenko. 6/10
Dribbling: I thought him to be a very competent dribbler. His first touch is divine, on the run he has a curious style of dribbling that I didn't think I would get on with but he seems to have a long touch when sprinting. For Shevchenko this worked in his favour meaning he ran onto the ball and his strength meant he kept it even if a defender got in the way. For me it worked despite it normally not being my dribbling style but take this into consideration as it may not work for some. 9/10
Defending: N/A
Physical: He is a striking menace. He is tall at 6ft and feels a lot stronger than the 79 strength stated. Stamina could be an issue if you were to go into extra time but for 90 minutes is A bully that you wouoldn't want to play against. 9/10
- Shooting of any-kind will, almost always, result in a goal.
- Pace is more than sufficient.
- Dribbling style that suits him as a player.
- Physicality, both on and off the ball.
- Passing is poor
- Stamina if in extra time.
- Cost, but I don't regret spending practically all my coins.
