Amazing finisher

When I've done Van Basten's Loan it took me 13 matches to decide to do his prime SBC. I knew that finishing is my worst side while playing FIFA, so I didn't mind pace, just shooting. This was a good decision. Van Basten is definitely not a sprinter, so if you're a pacewhore you won't make good use of his abilities. But if you're not, this guy will do amazing things. Almost EVERY shot taken inside the box is in, but I have to say - sometimes he misses very easy shots, but it happens only very rarely so it's not that bad. If you've got free 750k to invest, he is a good choice.

Finishing - amazing

Dribbling - very good if you don't mind 3* skills

Heading - 90% headers go in

Stamina - 78 stamina is enough, he doesn't get tired even in 85'

Penalties - 90% gone in

Strength - it's very hard to push him out

Passing - short passes are good, haven't tried long

Pace - minor con

Volleys - rated 98, but never gone in.

Absolutely Sensational!

Van Basten is easily the best striker I have used so far on FIFA 18. I have tried the likes of Inform Jesus, 85 Crespo, 86 Shevchenko and Aguero and he is far more superior than all of them. It took me only 3 games on his loan to complete his Prime and I haven't looked back since. He is perfect for shooting at any distances and angles as well as hold up and link up play. He is also surprisingly agile for someone who is 6ft2...

Marco Van Basten - The G.O.A.T

So all throughout Fifa 18 my go to stratergy was 4-3-2-1 with the classic striker above 88 pace, i have used quite a few great strikers not the best but I've had Owen 88, mertens 86,87,88, jesus 84, wilson 84 however van basten blows them all out the water, after seeing the sbc come out i decided to change my trusty formation of 2 years and go 4-1-2-1-2(2) with van basten having a nice fast partner for 1-2s.
