Marco Van Basten - The G.O.A.T

So all throughout Fifa 18 my go to stratergy was 4-3-2-1 with the classic striker above 88 pace, i have used quite a few great strikers not the best but I've had Owen 88, mertens 86,87,88, jesus 84, wilson 84 however van basten blows them all out the water, after seeing the sbc come out i decided to change my trusty formation of 2 years and go 4-1-2-1-2(2) with van basten having a nice fast partner for 1-2s.

Shooting- genuinely the best in the game the stats do not lie will finish anywhere inside or outside the box i have no complaints about this he will not miss or bottle crucial chances

dribbling - felt hard to use at first but with the r2 and slow dribbling and shielding the ball and turning he feels so good and can get past the likes of bailly so easily

pace - i had him get in behind sounds weird baring in mind he is quite slow however in game he can usually outpace / keep up with the meta defenders like bailly sometimes it does let me down when using the heavy touch sprint.

defending - irrelevant to a striker

passing - in 50 games he only has around 10 assists however that may be due to the fact he is the focal point of my team and gets more chances as opposed to creating them however his short passing is adequate as he can make 1-2s with his strike partner to set up goals

Physical- i rarely cross it in with a narrow formation unless my fullback gets up however his jumping is as advertised scored a few headers so no qualms about that, stamina sub 80 looks low however i can honestly say i have never once been let down by lack of stamina he has scored hat tricks for me after the 80th minute it seems low on the card however it doesn't actually go down that much whether that's because he isn't running as much for me as he would with others, strength is a little inconsistent sometimes he wins the 50/50 shoulder battles other times he doesn't.

Absolutely Sensational!

Van Basten is easily the best striker I have used so far on FIFA 18. I have tried the likes of Inform Jesus, 85 Crespo, 86 Shevchenko and Aguero and he is far more superior than all of them. It took me only 3 games on his loan to complete his Prime and I haven't looked back since. He is perfect for shooting at any distances and angles as well as hold up and link up play. Favourite striker so far

Such an amazing striker, his shooting is so phenomenal, have scored so many insane longshots and impossible goals with this guy. I'm using him with the catalyst chemistry style for the extra pace and passing in a 41212 (2) formation where I swap him from CAM to ST ingame. Also a great dribbler if you get used to his dribbling.
