Little magician - an absolute game changer

I have played 4321 in the beggining and 442 in the past few months. After the latest (WC) patch I struggled with my 442 team in the WL so I decided to switch to 41212(2).

I was looking for a fast striker with a decent price so I decided to try out this little guy.

I like to try out more and more players so I have played several good players this year - Neymar, Messi, Bale, Suarez, Aubameyang, Lewandowski, Griezmann, Dybala, Larrson and many more - so I try to compare this card to them.

Pace - 9/10

No question he is the fastest I have played with. His pace with this dribbling stats and his height makes him feel like a F1 car.

It's a 9 from because I believe his TOTS card feels more faster. (Haven't tried his TOTS yet.)

Shooting - 9/10

He can shoot from anywhere. Long shots, finesse, low driven, chip shot. No matter what he will hit the target.

Before I used this card Suarez was my favourite finisher. Now its TIF Dries Mertens.

It's a 9 from me again. Sometimes he hits the post.

Passing - 9/10

His passing is very good for a striker. Almost never misses a pass.

Feels like Iniesta's passing.

Dribbling - 10/10

His dribbling is insane. For me its better than Messi's or Neymar's - who are well known for their dribbling skills.

Best dribbler ever for me. Can't imagine better.

Defending - 3/10

Sometimes he gets the ball back upfront but its very rare. He is not usable for defending but I think no one expects it from a Mertens type player.

Physicality - 3/10

I think this is the biggest con of this card and of him. He is really small (won't win any header duels) and his strength is very low. He can be pushed off the ball easily as all the defenders are higher and much stronger than him.

Also his stamina is low a bit with 85 but I haven't subbed him off yet (not even in a 120 min game).

If you like to dribble and do skills I think this is not a big problem but you have to count with his poor physical stats and body type.

To sum up I think this card is really great value for money. I purchased him for 100k (he is 120k atm) which is a bargain.

I have played with his 86 gold card. I can say that this card is a much upgrade compare to that.

It is a really fun card to use. You can dribble with him better than Neymar or Messi does. You can shoot with him from anywhere. You can pass with him like Iniesta does.

If you can live with the cons and fit him into your team this card is highly recommended for this price. Absolute WL ready even after TOTS came out.

I haven't tried his TOTS card yet but I can not imagine that his TOTS card is much better for 3x the price. I would rather upgrade the other part of the team for that coin.
