He's good

I picked him due to Shaw being not as good as last year, there being a lack of LBs from the prem and, importantly, my bias towards Man Utd. If not for being a Utd fan, I doubt I would have picked him up as his stats do not look that good. However, having played 27 games with him so far, I can say with confidence that he is actually pretty good. I use him with an anchor, mainly to boost his physical. He's solid as any left back I've used. But his biggest positive is his passing. Although he's right footed, his left footed passes out to my left winger are pin point. And if he reaches the opposition third, his right footed crosses into the box nearly always fall to my strikers.

Defensively, he finds himself in the right position, cutting off dangerous attacks. With the anchor chem card, he feels sufficiently strong. All in all, I've found him surprisingly good.
