i was looking for a lb for my 41212 narrow with the best crossing possible since i play crosses mainly with if lukaku and if batshuayi.
And young is the perfect crosser, i use him with catalyst because i dont care for his defensive skills that much, i want him with 99 crosses and 99 pace to assist, and yeah, 95% of all crosses hit the striker in good position. even with his weak foot he crosses good, but always try to use his right foot because he avoids using weak foot and sometimes he forces himself in right foot cross in bad positions.
I play him with Always go to attack in players mentality so he can always do the run to the opposing goal.
he has the crosses Trait, abuse that
he is i think 99 crosses 99 curve 99 pace if you use catalyst, so thats his role!
is the best defense crosser in PL, a little bit better than valencia which is also pretty good.
-good ball control and dribble
-he always tries to use his right foot, so it can do a weird pass sometimes,
-he is not very strong or defensive, a bigger winger striker can push him but you can get assist from the CM or defense
-with the mentality of attack all the time he is dead at minute 55 but he REALLY goes up and down like crazy, i ve made some goals with him also thank to that.
Gets up the pitch either crosses it in or scores. Full backs are too OP in this game in a 41212 (2) formation. Insane record for untradeable LB.
(Mostly used in squad battle vs legendary AI)
Dribbling - pretty good
Finishing - pretty good
Finds himself in good positions up the pitch.
AMAZING low driven crosses into Jesus specifically
Pace - doesn't feel like he actually has 83 pace
Stamina - dont know what the cards stamina is but i would say not good.
I picked him due to Shaw being not as good as last year, there being a lack of LBs from the prem and, importantly, my bias towards Man Utd. If not for being a Utd fan, I doubt I would have picked him up as his stats do not look that good. However, having played 27 games with him so far, I can say with confidence that he is actually pretty good. I use him with an anchor, mainly to boost his physical. He's solid as any left back I've used. But his biggest positive is his passing. Although he's right footed, his left footed passes out to my left winger are pin point. And if he reaches the opposition third, his right footed crosses into the box nearly always fall to my strikers.
Defensively, he finds himself in the right position, cutting off dangerous attacks. With the anchor chem card, he feels sufficiently strong. All in all, I've found him surprisingly good.
- Passing & Crossing
- Defensive positioning
- right footed player at left back
