Player Review
82 - PTG
Divock Origi has so far scored 17 goals and got 4 assists in 10 games of FUT Champs alongside Timo Werner. I would recommend his path to glory card ahead of his inform due to the position change alone. I feel like this card is wasted out wide and is a perfect striker. I played him with pressing back line and get in behind and used RB to trigger his runs which I find is very helpful with this card.
SHOOTING: Origi's shot power is a massive asset to his shooting, although only 85 on his in-games it feels much more and I would suggest using power shots with this card ahead of finesse shots. Another reason for this suggestion of finesse shots is that he only has 61 curve which often leads to finesses ending up being caught by the keeper. His three star weak foot is also a little bit lack lustre as many shots with his left will lack power and accuracy, anything outside the 18 yard box keep on his right foot.
PACE: Origi feels rapid but sometimes takes a while to get up to speed but once he is at full speed he bulldozes through defences. Saying that, he can often get shrugged of the ball when holding LB/L2 this is likely due to his 66 balance which can occasionally let him down. The low balance also means that when through on goal strong, fast defenders such as Bailly and Varane will shrug him of the ball.
DRIBBLING: Origi's dribbling can feel clunky at times and this is another benefit of this striker card as dribbling is not as necessary. This was one of the main problems I found with his RW card.
PATH TO GLORY: Although this card is 20k more than his inform there is a high possibility of a second IF which would be an 84 rated card so buying this card could act as an investment and I can see an 84 rated going for upwards of 150k.
