alright so fut birthday mahrez, simply put he pulls the strings and has a deadly presence in your attack. his agility is very noticeable in game and one thing i found surprising was his aggression. his aggression in game is much more than what his stats say, this man ran down and battled bakayoko off the ball. he is not easily pushed off the ball, but don't try to go shoulder to shoulder with someone (doing this wastes his agility stat). his finesse shot is deadly and skills are there; if you don't like skills, he is still a clinical passer/shooter. i picked him up for 105k and slapped a maestro card on him and haven't looked back. you can feel the impact of this card in your attack, but YOU NEED TO PLAY SLOW WITH THIS CARD his work rates are solid for the calm/collected player.

PL Mertens?

This FUT Birthday Mahrez is most comparable to Mertens, so if you like Mertens but need a full Prem side, Mahrez is your guy.

My card has a HUNTER Chem style so his finishing+passing+dribbling ability sitting behind two pacey strikers was very good.

mahrez central card is so cool ,smooth and enjoyable ,

he scored me 17 goals

and assisted 21 in 40 games , note "as im a player whos dose not wait and play counters i like to control the ball "(witch Leeds me to lose some times xD)

i play him as striker next to IF zaha behind them is Wayne Rooney as a cam , and what a companion of passing , dribbling and shooting on those three .

my main hit man is zaha as he have the speed , i use mahrez and Rooney for long shots and through passing for zaha , and it works for me very well

i recommend this card but not for 90k

maybe 75-80k will be fair

note im not a very good player and not very good as skills moves and most of the games are in Div4 and Div3

THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND!!! Now, in my opinion this version of Mahrez is amazing. A great upgrade even from his 86 IF. ( They feel like 2 completely different cards ). His pace is really good. Dribbling is perfection. Passing is great. Even without a chem style his shooting is still really good but personally i did put a hunter just to get the max out the pace and the shooting. I was thinking of maestro or hawk but his passing and dribbling are already great. NOTE: Physical not the best but however he can sometimes hold the ball depending on the situation. ( Stam is good as well ) NOTE 2: Personally i used Mahrez as a CAM which i think is the best position for this version of Mahrez. NOTE 3: His 4 star weak foot paired with the 5 star skill moves is pretty much unstoppable.

I was looking for a good CM for my premier league squad and bought this gem at 80000 when it got out. Firmino SIF is and was my CAM and I though that I would not get a player that dribbles like firmino, now I barely dribble with my beloved firmino because this card set the bar to high for me in terms of dribbling! the way he moves w the ball is amazing! His passing skills are amazing, and his shooting is also great he scored 33 goals for me as a CM and 90% of them were long finesse shots, he is a skilled pacey beast and is really cheap, Buy him!
