I tried before some player in that CM position like Ballack 89, Petit and that kind of box to box players, but oh man, this guy is pure class and precision.
Amazing passing, he had the ability of send passes in any direction with 0% of fail.
The pace with shadow is very good for a CM.
Good Shot, longshots are amazing and i feel the finesse shots very good too with the right foot.
The physically on the stats appears not great but, believe men, this guy can intercept and hold the ball very well (The balance it's good and with the shadow chemical style the interceptions was incredible).
Just make passes, hold the ball, pass, hold the ball or shot...this men is good.
92 Vision, Short Passing and Long Passing, just Insane to be a creative CM, the Stats for a Sat-Nav.
90 Positioning, 92 Shot Power, 93 Long Shots...if you use time finishing with this guy outside the box the shots are letal, there are 81 finishing but its a icon, tried a finesse shot with him and tell me later.
If you uses a Shadow with this guy, the Pace and the Defending stats for CM are not bad...88 acceleration, 91 Interceptions, and with 88 balance , 90 reactions and 89 aggression believe me, this guy can hold the ball, make some tackling and intercept.
Only 5,7, for me its not a problem , but if you like a player like Ballack, Petit or Pogba, this maybe its not your men for a CM Role.
3 Stars Combo, in passing the 3 stars of weak foot are not a problem, for shooting only on the finesse shots its difficult, but on long shots and volleys, you can had a surprise, if you uses a lot of Skills on the Middle, forgive this man.
I start in a 4312 for chem purposes and then switch to a 41212(2) in game.
I play 89 Scholes at CAM and he is a very quality card, as his stats and output suggest, but is not worth the 600k+ you have to pay for him.
He tends to go missing but will randomly have a game with 2 goals and 3 assists which skews his stats. For around the 630k that I paid for him you can get players like Neymar, Mbappe, Pogba, De Bruyne, or Bale who I assume (only have used Pogba so far) have a much bigger impact on the game.
If you have the coins (or just want to use a player from your childhood like I did) and want a player who can slot in quality passes and bang in the occasional finesse or long shot then Scholes is very good among other good players, but if you're looking for a game changer to center your team around this isn't the card.
Overall, this is a luxury player who can shine in a very good team but isn't a top tier game changer.
Passing: Great, base 92 vision/long/short passing, 87 crossing, and 89 composure certainly show in game.
Dribbling: Neutral on this, he's no Neymar but isn't Fellaini either.
Shooting: If he gets open you have a good chance of scoring, but he can't create space very well so you need other quality players around him to bring out his shooting.
Stamina: Can run the entire game and more.
Pace: This doesn't matter that much since this years iteration of FIFA is less centered around pace, but if you still like a pacey CAM who can make solo runs he can't do it.
3* Skills: I use a good amount of skills to create space and he can't do them, although his Croqueta is typically effective. If you don't use 4-5* skills this isn't a problem.
3* Weak Foot: Very one sided when shooting, I would say maybe 2-4 of his 29 goals were with his left foot.
Physical: He's 5'7" and has 70 strength, enough said.
Wow, what a player. I bought Scholes about a week ago and didn't really expect too much based off of other reviews. I needed an icon and had just used 90 Okocha who just wasn't cutting it for me anymore. Scholes has the potential to turn a game in your favor at any point in time. It has only been a short amount of time using him and I love him already. He is box to box, covering my midfield whenever one goes forward. He can score at the most important times, pulling a top corner long shot out of nowhere. He puts through everybody with through balls that I can't imagine how they get through. He is especially lethal towards the end of the game, when the opponent is tired and he dribbles through and puts it in to win me the game. Overall he is definitely a player worth trying out and a fun player to use, especially linking well with Pogba and Flashback Ibrahimovic.
Long shots are overpowered.
Turns fast and dribbles with ease.
Passes are immaculate
Stamina lasts all game including extra time (probably best attribute)
Surprisingly not slow at all the pace stat is truly false.
Only con I can think of is that he sometimes loses extremely easy tackles that he gets their first but still loses it.
This guy was amazing, i am a united fan and wanted to try a icon since i packed Ramos in a mega pack. At first i bought Nesta 88. He was a great player but i didnt want such a expensive CB so i just put a bid on scholesy and didnt actually know if i was gonna get him, but what a player he is. I suck at fifa even though i am a weekend league player usually i am silver 1 but this weekend i managed to go a level up and end up in gold 3. He saved me so many times with his longshots they are some of the best in the game.
His passing you wont belive how good he is as a playmaker.
Finishing
His pace isnt really a problem
I know he is 92 in stamina but he is such a playmaker that he actually gets really tired in late game.
