Lemme start off with the price. For me, it cost about 80k. I was lucky enough to pack some good players out of my last rewards. He’s absolutely worth that. I also think he’s worth the 150k. For a comparison, he’s been better than SBC Milinkovic-Savic for me at CDM/CM/CAM. They are both hard to link Seria A beast midfielders. I would recommend using him at CAM in a 4-2-3-1 or any CM position. I’ve played 10 games with him so far. 8 Div Rivals and 2 Squad Battles(for the packs/coins). Now I’ll explain how his stats play in-game.
Pace: The pace on this card is GOOD. He’s noticeably faster than Pjanic/Hamsik/Matuidi/SMS. His height and agility hinder his pace, but his positioning and strength make up for it IMO. He definitely can start a counter-attack for you if he receives the ball. He has that Goretzka-esque pace and power combo.
8.5/10
Dribbling: 70 Balance- Not great for a CAM/CM. 79 Agility- Great for a CM and decent for a CAM. The agility isn’t enough to counter his low balance on its own BUT his 86 strength is. So, he has 87 ball control and 81 dribbling. These can be boosted easily with any dribbling focused chem style. He keeps the ball really well in difficult situations because of this ball control/strength/agility. His dribbling is comparable to Pogba. He dribbles with power and conviction. Very easy for him to get into nice scoring positions. 4* combo
8.5/10
Shooting: THIS IS WHERE HE SHINES! 84 attack positioning, 81 finishing, 88 volleys, 89 shot power! He just scores. Plain and simple. He scores for me just as much from CM as he does at central CAM. Timed finishing is the most important aspect to this game to exploit and he does it very very well. 86 CURVE. His right foot is lethal, his left foot is lethal, his heading is 82 base with 84 jumping at 6’1. Very capable scorer.
9/10
Passing: Very surprising. 87 short pass, 83 long pass, 80 vision are all great stats, right? But his passing in-game is DIFFERENT. Dude just does the thing. Through balls, lobs, driven, cross, corners. Don’t matter. The man just places it. Pretty much all I have to say.
9/10
Defending: His defending is pretty good. I have 0 complaints in this aspect. His 86 stand tackle is great and his heading is nice to have for winning those midfield headers into the path of your forwards. 65 marking is OK. He’s not Kante, but he will chase down the opponent and out-muscle them off the ball. He wins quite a lot of corner headers too. Overall, he lacks that high Defensive WR to track back but he tracks back enough at the CM spot. At CAM, you might have to put come back on defense if you need him to defend.
7.5/10
Physical: The stats speak for themselves. 6’1, 86 strength, 91 aggression are FANTASTIC. Cannot be pushed off the ball. Period. OK OK OK the elephant- 75 Stamina. He can go a full 90!!! I’ve only had one game where I had to sub him off because of stamina. That was in the 107th minute. His High/Medium does not make his stamina an issue IMO. If he had H/H, I don’t think he could last the full 90. But, HE DOESN’T. So don’t write him off.
9/10
OVERALL: Kevin Prince Boateng Flashback- 9/10 (CM/CAM)
1. Shooting
2. Physical/ Physical presence
3. Passing
4. Pace
5. Fun
Something I did not touch on in the review is how fun this card is! He fees like a Cheap Guulit* I know it’s cliche, but that’s the only way I can describe him. He does it all.
1. LINKS
2. Agility (sort of)
3. Lack of signature goal celebration
As a AC Milan fan I did not think twice and I do the SBC in 3 minutes. He costs me 80k considering the non-tradeable items in my club. What can I say... wow.
Let's see the stats and the in-game feelings
Using the compare functions on Futbin you can see that he got all the stats balanced, very few under 80. Try to compare his with Baby Gullit and prepare to be surprised.
I put Deadeye on him, it will boost the passing stats because I use him as a CAM in a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow formation and I'm very satisfied of his in game feeling.
Pace: fast enough to play in all the mildfield position, you'll feel he's faster in game due his good positioning (boosted with the style)
Shooting: watch his goals on videos. OK you got an idea about what this guy can do. He perform the same in-game, he can takes screamers outside the box and he's good even closer the keeper, not clinical but good.
Passing and dribbling: I put the "technical" skills in the same cathegory because as CAM they got a huge weight on the final judgment. 4 skills are good, the dribbling stats could be better and this is the reason why I want to try even another style. With Deadeye he performs very well as assistman
Defending and Phisical: I read a lot of comments that blames his defending stats and some people compared him with Matuidi and say that the Frenchman is better as CDM... OF COURSE HE IS! Boateng is a offensive player, Max Allegri when he was the AC Milan manager use him as CAM and all the stats suggest it. Despite this, his defensive stats are pretty good for a player that stay in the last third of the pitch. His aggression and the tackle stats let him steal a lot of balls expecially on the first touch pressure tactics. last but not least: if you use correctly his stamina is not an issue. I got the same sensations with Kakà on Fifa 18, put low interceptions and stay in position in the player instructions and Kevin-Prince will have 50% stamina left on 70th. Use him as a CM without instructions and you'll need a spoon to collect his rests along the pitch.
Well balanced player, basically is a all-rounded offensive midfielder
No decent strong links, basically is a super-sub
I have a Serie A/Ligue 1 Hybrid and have used almost ever striker possible (If belotti, IF cavani, IF immobile, IF mertens, IF depay, Etc.). I saw this card and decided, why not? So I used KPB in WL up at striker with the Sniper chem style in the 4231 wide, and had a lot of fun with him. He is a fantastic set up guy and finisher. I went 14-4 on the weekend as that is all the time I had. He finished with 15 goals and 10 assists in those 18 games, which is enough for me since I score a lot with my supporting players as well (primarily IF Insigne who I have sitting at CAM).
Using him at striker fixes his stamina issue. He is a big body in the box for corners and crosses. People are complaining about his price, but he is one of the most versatile cards in the game. I would be fine putting him at CDM, CM, CAM, CF, or ST. For me, this was the most usable flashback they have put out yet.
If you are interested in using him at striker, consider him more of a false 9. He can and will score, but I really enjoyed his ability to receive the ball, making a move, and making that pass that sets up the offense.
If you can fit him in your team, do it.

- Defense (getting the ball back in the other teams defensive half)

- He alone will not win you games, you need good supporting players
So,I've used Boateng for over 300 matches, and I can say he is my favourite player in fifa,so I decided to make a review about him.
Pace:he has only 80 pace but I can assure you he can get to a through ball easily.
Shoot:where I think this card is the best at.He can score longshots without problem, the only catch I would say this card has in shoot is his definition, which can be a problem.
Pass:His long pass isn't amazing and his crosses will be intercepted 9/10 of the times, but his short pass is very good and his curve is amazing.
Dribble:His balance is awful, most of the times he needs to turn he will fall to the ground, but asides to that he has pretty good dribble
Defense:As one can figure out,his marking is pretty bad,so if you use him at cm/cdm then get used to him leaving a big gap where he is trying to defend.
4 weak foot 4 skills
Long shoots
Curve
Composure
Ball Control
Short passing
Low agility and balance
low marking
Low stamina if you use him at cm
I have had Boateng flashback for almost 2 months, and I have mixed feelings about the card. I have played him at rcm in a 4-3-2-1 with artist and at CDM in 4-2-3-1 and 4-2-2-2 with guardian. He has extremely good physicality and can muscle just about anyone off the ball. He's fast enough and can get around the pitch well. Passing is deadly and he can play pinpoint passes from and to anywhere on the pitch. The only issue-and it's a major one-is his feeling on the ball. When dribbling, he feels very sluggish and can't turn quickly with or without the ball. His agility and balance are both in the 70s so I didn't expect much but it feels impossible to dribble with him, even with an artist chem style.
