In the mix of very disappointing Futmas cards, EA did eventually released the one that is not only good and cheap but very much needed. This year, La Liga has been short on good fullbacks with Carvajal being the only good RB while Marcelo, Jordi Alba, and Lucas Hernandez being only 3 usable LB. Before this card, the futmas seemed a bit dead but then came this Arias card that did give some of the gamers a reason to do it. This is a brilliant card in all aspect. It has great pace for an RB and it can be upgraded with the right chemistry style. His defending and physical stats are also good with his stamina being the best aspect. I was looking for a good RB to have so that I can rotate my squad and this Arias card fits that cause perfectly. On the face of it, it shows him to be 82 rated card but his in-game stats are that of an 83 rated RB. I personally use Anchor Chemistry style on him which takes his pace to 95. His marking, stand tackle and slide tackle also go beyond 90 and the best part is that he gains 82 heading with 97 jumping. His decent height mixed with his good heading and excellent jumping has come good for me in crunch weekend league matches. His 94 stamina and his 95 pace helped me to run in power with a lot of pacy winger in the game and to that for full 90 minutes. Though he gets only 78 strength which does become a bit of problem against strong forwards and his high/medium work rate can cause him to make overlapping runs in opponent's half frequently if not put on stay back while attacking instruction. Another big issue with him is that he can't get enough links. So, making a hybrid with him is tough. You either have Columbian CB and midfielders or a La Liga team. But, if you have a La Liga team then this card is a must use. With an anchor chemistry style, he becomes a 90 rated RB. In my opnion, he is a geart RB card for a La liga team or a columbian team.
Pace, defending, heading, jumping, stamina, and very cheap
Hard to link outside La Liga team. Low strength, dribbling, high attacking work rate.
