This guy is simply incredible, I lost count of how many times he saved me with last minute miracles.
His Reflexes and Diving stats are out of this world. If you use him with Basic Chem Style, he becomes a machine, saving uncountable impossible balls.
For 72k coins (oct/18), he is totaly worth it. For less than half the cost of De Gea, you will have the most (or 2nd most) complete goalkeeper in the game.
But the most important thing: this card will even prevent you from breaking your controller in some rage attack from last minute goals.
With Basic Chem Style, you have:
- 99 Diving
- 98 Handling
- 99 Kicking
- 98 Reflexes
Also, he excels at 1-on-1 attacks and acts as a very efficient sweeper keeper.
Maybe Speed? Can't complain.
Where do I begin? This year's Neuer is easily the best GK I have ever used (still haven't tried Ter Stegen and De Gea is nearly as good). He makes so many brilliant saves per game, that after a while you stop appreciating them enough. The first 6 games I played with him, he gave up 2 goals per game and played like a garbage can. Since then, I have learned how to play around his style and he has been ridiculous. Although he is able to make multiple ridiculous saves per game, he is still plagued by coding, scripting, and algorithm just like any other keeper. Occasionally, he will go into a spastic animation and fail to make an insanely easy save.
- Is capable of stopping bullets and goals that would have gone in against almost any other keeper
- Perfect stats with basic chem
- Great traits
- Makes VERY questionable decisions when it comes to clearing loose balls. 70% of the time he will punch the ball out instead of catching it, BUT his punches are immaculate. He will somehow find a way to distribute the ball out to one of your open players every single time. Honestly, I feel more neutral about this, but I'd still prefer a catch over a punch at times.
I recently changed my defense which meant I needed a Bundesliga GK. So of course I went for Neuer and I was very happy to find he's an amazing keeper this year. I have Courtouis untradeable and I'm going to have to go back to him when I eventually get TOTY Varane, so believe that I'm unbiased in saying that I prefer Neuer. I just trust Neuer way more in those scruffy situations which you always have to be prepared for in this game. And that's important because lots of top tier GK's have pretty much 99 in everything with a basic anyway so I'm looking for a calm and collected goalie which Neuer fits perfectly. I felt Courtouis could be a bit clumsy at times in comparison. The fact he's way better at kicking and has 4* WF also makes me feel way more comfortable when controlling him too.

Just "not bad", which is rare in GK's
Before using Neuer I had UCL ptg fahrmann that I swapped for tots Sommer from my guaranteed pack(who was quickly replaced with fahrmann again). After several annoying errors from fahrmann I decided to upgrade to Neuer just on his prestige alone and tbh I've been underwhelmed. Seems to make some good saves but spills a ridiculous amount of shots in to the path of onrushing attackers and costs me so so many goals

He isn't too expensive for a high rated keeper. So i tried him out. He has the same issues all keepers have. He can miss some easy chances at times. He can also flap around but at 60-80k he is better than alternatives in the bundesliga. May as well use him if you have the coins.
Diving and Reflexes - Makes a lot of saves from close range. Can save some longshots too. With his height its very nice.
Speed - as a sweeper he storms out and can get the ball. He does so himself a lot which is.. a double edged sword.
Handling - Tends to have fairly solid hands when he catches the ball.
Kicking - Decent kicking and passing to start attacks. OK with the ball at this feet too. (pass or clear it quickly though.)
Punching - He punches the ball far too often when he could catch it. Frustrating. Especially from corners and crosses.
Speed - He storms out and will get the ball a lot. Though at the same time i'd say 30% of the time he storms out he misses the ball and its an easy goal for the opponent.
