I was using Alonso and after about the 50th game of him messing something up I decided enough is enough, I have to replace him. For me Robertson just isn't worth it at 200k as when another EPL LB gets an inform his price will drop. That really only leaves UCL Robertson and Mendy and Mendy's workrates were just kinda a turnoff and Robertson just didn't look that good to me, so that leads me to Rose. And if I have anything to say about this card it's that HE DOES HIS JOB WHEN YOU CALL APON HIM. He makes the tackle when he need to and brings that cross down in the attacking half when he needs to as well, something Alonso often struggled with. This card is not a card that I see myself having beyond January as I hope more EPL LB's will be available by then, but this card will not be losing its spot due to any flaws it has. This card is absolute class and I could honestly see him being used until April or May in budget sides, he does his job that well.
I needed a left back for a long time in my team and tried all sorts. Mendy was bad at defending and Robertson was too slow. Rose however was the perfect balance with great skills going forward and in defence and can keep you in games. For 5k I would highly recommend him as you will not find anyone better in the league.
