Go up to the top and look at Casemiro's stats for a minute, then come back to this review...
Yes, so his stats are very average, and despite being 88 rated, he has 87 defending, and 88 physical, and everything else is 75 or below.
I had just claimed my Division Rivals rewards for the week, (I had started quite late, so had only finished Rank 3, in Division 4) so I opened my 2 Mega Packs (untradeable) and first one, I got the mighty Belotti as my best player. Next pack, I see its a walkout (my 3rd of the season, after Naldo, and Mane), it's Brazil, it's CDM (you are thinking Fernandinho right now) and then oh it's Casemiro! I didn't know whether to be pleased about this or not, as I had never played with him, he was never really mentioned much in youtube videos, or in Futbin Reviews, and I just hadn't heard much about him.
He got an assist in his first match, a goal in his second, and now he has done 16 games, got 9 assists and 5 goals, which is a great record. Ok, I was on Fifa yesterday for pretty much the whole day, but I still managed to win 12 of the 16 games I played, losing 2 and drawing 2.
Casemiro's best position is CM by far, as he is brilliant at both Defence and Attack, and if you can get 2 soft links through Lucas and David Luiz, Casemiro will play brilliantly!
Pace- He is clearly not rapid, but with a hunter Chemistry style, Casemiro can run
Dribbling- Fairly good, he feels very slick with the ball, and does not trip over himself
Shooting- He can score some absolute worldies, as well as some easy goals, Casemiro will slot the ball home!
Passing- He got 9 brilliant assists, and he can do anything! Long Balls, Short balls, over the top balls, the lot
Defending- I'd say in defence, Casemiro plays BETTER than N'golo Kante. Some of his tackles he does are Fantastic!
Physical- HE just shrugs players off the ball so easily, and he feels so strong!

Last review I did on Sadio Mane, we got 12 likes, which is brilliant!
Can we match that- I don't get any money for these reviews, it's just amazing to see the support!
Thank You, and I would really advise you get Casemiro, you will not be dissapointed!
100% defending
100% physical
surprisingly good shot
Great pace with a hunter chem style!
Dribbling is great
Passing is Phenomenal!
VALUE FOR COINS!
Easy to link
Honestly the only thing I can think of is he has a bad cross!
One of the most complete player in the game: great passing, defensive attitude, long shot & physicality. Maybe he's a little bit slow but with a shadow chemistry the problem could be solved.
Casemiro is undoubtedly a very good player in this game depending on whether he fits your style of play or not.
I was trying Fernandinho in a 4321 but realised I could do with a stronger more defensive type player so I chose Casemiro.
Although Fernandinho was better on the front foot Casemiro provided so much defensively with his defending and physicality doing wonders.
Lets get into his base stats.
Pace- Really not horrible. He cant blister away from other players but he can certainly hold his own when there is grass in front of him.
Shooting- Really good from outside the box. You can never time finesse it with him though it must just be straight up power.
Dribbling- He can control the ball and pass it off nicely but cant dance between defenders because of the agility and balance issue.
Passing- Very good passer to be fair. He has chipped in with a few assists in his time in my team.
Defending- Brilliant Tackler. he has very similar qualities to many CB's in the game meaning he puts in some clutch tackles to stop many attacks.
Physical- Very Very strong. He is able to very easily push many attackers of the ball such as Mbappe, Neymar, Martial and Lucas.
Honestly if you look at his stats and you aren't to fussed thats fine. Give him a try though he may just be the extra defensive player you are looking for.
Where do I start this guy controls the game. He is a rock in the midfield which you can get past, If you go near him he will lunge out and take the ball away from you and out strength your player and complete a perfect pass to start the attack. I mostly used Cas in weekend league and when i played against other people with him i found it hard to break there team down which must be what feel like when playing against me. I play him at the back of the diamond in a 41212(2) and he wins a lot of headers of the opponents goal kicks giving me another attack and you won't notice his weak foot. From corners he is an aerial beast he leaps and beats all defenders to headers and has scored a few goals of corners or won me another corner by forcing the GK to make a save.
What can i say about this man, he is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a player to dominate and stop all attackers in their tracks he is your man. Since i purchased him i lost just one game in div rivals. This guy has medium-high work rates and as a result he actually stays back like you tell him too. Anyway i shall now dissect his base stats.
I had tried Matuidi and he was good but his work rates let him down, this is what sets Casemiro apart from others.
Pace
6.5/10:
Now you may think that with 62 pace this would be his downfall and is probably the only thing holding you back from getting this guy. Firstly i've learnt pace really isn't necessary for a CDM. When you slap a hunter on this guy his pace goes upto 75 which is more then plenty.
Shooting
6/10
This stat really isn't too important for a CDM, but 69 is pretty good, i wouldn't take on many shots with him but if it comes down to it, the guy will finish his dinner. As for heading from corners this guy is good too.
Passing
8/10
He has great passing, his vision, short and long passing stats are great and because of his strength u'll find he actually gets a lot of assists. His lob through balls are actually strangely effective so try and exploit balls over.
Dribbling
7/10
Realistically as a CDM agility doesn't matter the crucial CDM stats are reactions, ball control and composure. All of which he has high stats - this just adds to his superb defensive ability, especially ball control and reactions which are both 84. Because of Casemiro's dribbling stats he is yet to make any era what so ever in defence or midfield
Defending
10/10
I cannot stress just how good he is at defending his height, tackling and strength makes him a god send defensively, his interceptions and pressure are fantastic. He always puts in a vital tackle or block. He is an absolute nuisance for attackers and makes oppositions rage so hard. His positioning is spot on too. Casemiro works best when you control him whilst holding A and Left trigger to jockey and bring a second man for help, to apply pressure for Casemiro to rob the opponent. Honestly the only time you ever concede is when you cannot take control of him in time or if you accidently drag him out of position - he is honestly that good!
Physical
10/10
Yeah this guys strenght is unbelievable he just boshes every attacker, you use him and watch him delete Lukaku instantly. As for stamina he'll run for days to be honest, i get worried when i take him off. His jumping is unreal - he wins every header.
Get this man now! He's only 37k and he'll change your life just remeber to put stay back while attacking on him, use a shadow or catalyst chem style and only use this guy at CDM.
