Having sold up my team I whacked together a little Serie A number and Fazio happened to be the highest rated defender I had left in my untradables.
Now it might not be hugely obvious at first, but this guy is really slow. However, what he lacks in speed he certainly makes up in height, tackling ability and positioning. He feels disciplined, almost as if the card understands that it is slow and manages to stay back nicely. I have him paired with Baresi (don't ask) and together they do a job perfectly. Fazio is cool, calm, picking up air balls and sticking in his janky leg at just the right moment while Baresi whips in and out of people like a terrier chasing a tennis ball. Don't expect him to get forward and be glad that he doesn't because his touch is maybe the worst I've seen. Also meaning when you do pick the ball up in defence with him mash pass or clear like your life depends on it.
Absolutely giant geezer.
Always in the right place at the right time.
Has ridiculously long legs which are great for tackling.
