Solid enough

I'm not too sure why this card is getting so much hate, which is why I decided to write this review. I found him to be a solid enough defender for the price that came with the sbc. His headers from corners were very good and allowed me to get 2 goals from 5 games. Sometime his work rate found him in a difficult position to recover from but as long as you get a pace chemistry style like shadow or anchor on him he'll be fine. Also make sure you utilise his long passing stat when looking for players out wide because he was often able to start attacks from the back. Look, I'm not saying this is the best defender in the game but if you have coins to spare then you should give it a go if he fits in your team.

Amazing Defender

94 laport is simply amazing. With shadow he is fast, defending stats go to 99 and physical stats are good. Strength, jumping and aggression are 88+. his passing and build up play is phenomenal. All this combined with his length it is an amazing player.Don't understand that he is cheaper than van Dijk 91.

You get what you pay for

I think a lot of people saw this sbc and thought it was a scam because you could get someone meta like Davinson Sanchez instead. Honestly this guy is so underrated. I recently decided to buy an Icon centre back (for sentimental reasons) and was short on coins afterwards. The best defender ive used so far!

I got laporte from the guaranteed BPL TOTS SBCI play laporte next to baby Rio Ferdinand in a 433(4) formation in game and i could not be happier with how he has performed for me. he is 6"2 but on the pitch he feels 6"4. he has no problem dealing with players such as flashback ibra and tots tawamba.
