Childhood hero turned FIFA hero

I had around 1.5 million coins prepared for a good Icon sbc to come out and when EAids dropped Raul I knew he would be mine.

I´m going to compare him to other players I´ve used this year so you can get a better understanding of how he feels ingame. The players he feels most similar to are both Messi and CR7, sounds weird I know but he is like both of them mixed into one aside from Messi´s dribbling and passing (which doesn´t really matter as a striker with 94 vision and 89 short passing). He has a better shot than both of them with Messi coming the closest. His heading is just as good as Ronaldo´s with the strength being about the same (you do feel the low aggression in certain instances though). The one thing that absolutely stands out with this card is his cannon of a left foot whilst his right foot is pretty reliable aswell. Sometimes you get the feeling that every shot you take ends up in the back of the net, his finishing is second to none, I want to stress this again, it´s absolutely frickin unbelieveable how he´s able to get the ball exactly in the corner of the goal with the speed of light, from the most impossible angles wanting me to come over my controller consistently in awe of this beautiful man that brings so much joy to me.

Is the Icon SBC worth it?

Well, if you´re a fan of Raul and don´t have enough coins to buy him of the market then I´d say yes, you won´t be disappointed in his abilities that´s for sure. But otherwise I think you should just buy him of the market espacially now that the TOTY is in full flow. Then again this FIFA absolutely sucks and for the most time this year I hated playing it, that is until I got this card.

At last, it doesn´t matter which formation you play as he flourished in all of them, lone or second striker.

I´m a Gold 2 to Gold 1 level WL player and he dragged me to my first Gold 1 Weekend League finish this FIFA. He´s scored 168 goals and contributed 22 assists in 110 games.

Pace - It´s pretty good but he isn´t lightning fast (used him with Hunter)
Shooting - Better accuracy then Nicklas Bendtner when he hits an innocent taxi driver with his belt.
Dribbling - His dribbling is very reliable but not exactly Messi-esque, it´s about the same as CR7´s.
Passing - Short and long passing (although his ingame stat might suggest otherwise) are quite good but a bit inconsistent, his freekicks are okay.
Defending - Literally doesn´t matter.
Physical - His jumping is insane, he wins so many headers from corners, his strength (partnered with his very good balance) is good but nothing too special really and the stamina is another huge pro as he doesn´t get tired over the entirity of a game.

Raul doesn´t really have any con´s worth mentioning.

Raaaauuuuuull!!!! The war horse

He is totally worth for every penny spent . You can feel the "Prime" in this card . Pace , Dribble , Shot is way above the stats mentioned . He can score with any foot and any shot ( Long range thunderbolt, Finnes inside and outside the box , low driven , Bazooka from middle of the pitch ). Since the beginning of Fifa I've been wanting to do an Icon SBC of a ST.. and after looking at all the choices, I thought its gonna be either him or Butragueno as both looked very good.. When his SBC dropped I immediately did the loan to try him out and after having 20 games with him I can defo say he's on of the best STs I've ever played with so lets get to the review.
