Player Review
89 - FUT Future Stars
When reading the title of this review, you should just about understand what this guy is all about. All he does is score goal after goal and then some, he is seriously the living definition of a finisher who can definitely finish his dinner whilst still being hungry for dessert. When I first saw this card on EA's twitter account, I thought, "Wow, he looks really good, but doesn't quite seem to be an end-game card." this put me off buying his for the first few days as I wanted to see where his price settled. At about 300k I made the purchase and it was quite possibly one of the best i've made all Fifa.
I played Cutrone up top in a 41212 (2) formation alongside POTM Hazard, as I thought a skillful, dribbler type player in Hazard would go perfectly with a poacher in Cutrone. Throughout the 10 games I played with him, this man scores for fun. Long shots (even though it says they are only 74 trust me, they are not), timed finesses, low driven's, headers and even occasional bicycle kicks would all fly into the net with ease, leaving even the best keepers in Courtois and De Gea looking like Karius in the Champions League final.
- Shooting: My word, this guy has to be one of the most composed and relaxed players in front of goal i've ever played with. Every chance he has he puts in the back of the net. Even if he has players up his ass, trust me mate, the ball is going in the net.
- Dribbling: For a 6 foot striker with 81 agility I expected Cutrone to be sluggish and hard to turn with, this was quickly proven incorrect when he took his first touch on the ball. I was impressed by how easy it is to make quick turns and dribble around players, whilst also holding them off with his 88 strength.
- Pace: Looking at the stats, 86 Pace with 84 Acceleration and 87 Sprint Speed doesn't stand out as an amazing stat, but when he makes those runs that split defenses open, he feels like as if Adama Traore had a son... with 90+ Pace. Seeing as pace is one of the less important stats this Fifa with defenders catching up to even the fastest players, it is nice to use a card that can exploit some defenders low reactions and pace whilst also making the correct runs.
- Heading: When looking at his heading stats coupled with his height, it is inevitable that this guy will win a lot of headers. A LOT. From near post corners to goal kicks and occasional crosses, this man wins them all with about 85% of them ending up in the back of the net.
- Strength: Strength is pretty self explanatory, 88 means he can hold off some of the weaker defenders with exceptions to Van Dijk and Sergio Ramos. Still feels great.
- Positioning: Always in the right place at the right time, always making the best runs and always scoring. Simple.
- Maybe his free kick stats, but even saying that is a stretch for cons.
