This review may be surprising so brace yourself...

I am so fed up of this card, its absolutely AWFUL! Hear me out...

I've read the other reviews and most are done pre-patch.

Let me start off by saying that pre-patch, this card was broken. His finesse shots were insane. He destroyed my opponent so many times. He was incredible....Then they nerfed finesse shots...now he is worse than the regular NIF. If you want Jesus - just get his regular NIF. This card performs worse...the NIF is still somewhat broken.

I have played over 350 games with this card mainly in ST (I was lucky enough to get him red). ~200 games pre-patch and ~150 post-patch. I am a regular player who gets gold 3/2 in champs and currently in division 3 (after they changed the points system). Only play online games, no single player games (squad battles etc.)

Chem style: HAWK & DEADEYE

Positions: ST (4231 & 41212) and CAM (4231)

Lets breakdown the stats

I will put the actual stat first then the 'feels like' stat in brackets

PACE: 88 (88) With hawk it feels about 88 pace. Nothing amazing but does get the job done. With hawk i would expect him to feel quicker.

RATING 7/10

SHOOTING: 84 (76) Again with hawk this should be 89!! this feels terrible in game. could be because of only 83 composure or 81 shot power base stats, but very disappointing. Most shots go over the bar or go straight to the keeper. I expect much more. I am not comfortable in front of goal with Jesus, so i usually now end up looking for that extra pass. He really struggles to finish, especially with that 3* weak foot...don't shoot on his left.

Before the patch this felt like 90...

RATING 4/10

DRIBBLING: 88 (89) so his dribbling actually feels about right. He is good on the ball and handles it very well. His 94 agility and 93 balance really do show in game and you can really feel it. He feels slick on the ball especially when performing 4* skills. If he had 5* skills then it would be perfect. Overall I am happy with this stat.

PASSING: 75 (65) Don't be fooled by people saying he's insane as a CAM. I had a very different experience. His passing was absolutely hideous. 75 is an overstatement. His short pass is bearable, his long pass is a lottery and his crossing is non-existent. I might be a bit harsh but i've been so frustrated by him not being able to complete a simple pass or a simple cross into the box. This is by far his most annoying stat and why i would strongly suggest that, if you do get this card, play him ST only.

DEFENDING: 41 (63) This stat surprised me. He actually is not bad at defending. I think his H/H work rates helps with his defending and he does track back quite well. But not to the point where he is always out of position. He will still be able to make runs upfield for through-balls. What i have noticed throughout all the games i've played with him is that he doesn't give up trying to get the ball back and he will dispossess the likes of VVD/Ramos/Varane/Luiz in their defence when your opponent is time wasting or passing it around the back. Pleasantly surprised.

RATING 7.5/10 (For a ST)

PHYSICAL: 75 (75) This is a fair value. His stamina is good enough and have had no problems lasting the whole 90 mins. Extra-time he gets tired and will need to be subbed off. With a chem style to boost jumping - you really feel this in game and he does win some headers. Of course when matched with VVD, David Luiz, Ramos etc. Jesus loses these battles. So don't expect him to be your target man, but he will try his best. He's pretty weak in game, but feels more than 69, maybe more like 75 - with a chem style this feels higher.

Final thoughts:

If you are thinking of buying this card, don't. Save your coins, buy the NIF or maybe consider the carniball (haven't used this or played against it). Stay away from the IF Jesus. There are many more better options for strikers in the prem. NIF Rashford ST is better than this IF... or just buy Aguero. Aguero has been one of my favourite strikers :)
