Mendy's Powerful Twin

Packed this guy from the very first UCL untradeables SBCs and overlooked him as I was trying to find links to get Varane's chemistry to 10. Tried EPL and La Liga LBs, with Jordi Alba being the starting LB for the team, at the cost of Varane being at 7 chem. After revamping the team, I wanted to save coins to get Kante to form a good wall of Varane and Kante at the left side of the team. I immediately noticed that Mendy fit perfectly and gave chemistry to Kante and Varane. Lets just say, during online play, this Mendy packs quite the punch against many opposing teams. Don't expect him to score goals or provide assists mostly due to his position, but he can be a monster with a Shadow chem. His stats don't fully show the true skill of the Frenchman.

Pace: 88 for a low rated card is sweaty, with Shadow however, this card becomes a speedster on the defensive side of the pitch, tracking down speedy wingers and holds his own in 1 v 1 situations.

Dribbling: 80 for a LB is somewhat ok, since that allows Mendy to avoid being pressured from opposing players and dribble away to avoid awkward possession.

4 Star Weak Foot & 4 Star Skill Moves: adding from the dribbling, this gives Mendy an offensive ability to avoid losing possession and start offensive momentum.

Work Rates: really good for field presence, especially on the defensive side.

Stamina: Not really a problem if he's not being burned for running on the flanks. Can be a bit of problem during late game minutes if he has had to track wingers for a period of time.

Marking: can be a bit of a nuisance if you want to defend with AI, as he might lose track and not put the pressure on a player when needed. As long as you have a good center back partnertship with Mendy, that can help fix him.

Shot: obviously somewhat non-existent. Try not to shoot with him.

Composure: a bit too low for a LB, but then form a 78 UCL card, what can you expect?
