Played with him in 7 games but it was enough to see how good he is.
Been using him in a 4321 with Bale and Reus either side occasionally swapping to 41212(2), Reus in cam with Bale up top along side Phillip.
Scored 4 but got himself 7 assists using a deadeye to boost both passing and finishing.
Very underrated and due for an upgrade when Dortmund go through so good to invest in.
Good height at 6"0.
Good finishing.
4* weak foot and skills makes him a good player.
Surprisingly good vision and passing.
Decent pace which doesn't need a chem style to improve due to his good agility making him feel light and quick.
Strength is a bit low however does really feel that weak.
Poor jumping and heading makes his height slightly more irrelevant but still seems to win a lot of headers.
Not the best stamina but he lasts the game.
Low composure.
This man is an absolute god.
I put him in my squad as has a perfect link to gotze and strong to werner, and wasn't expecting much, put playing him alongside werner was incredible.
1-2s are incredibly good between them as he has great positioning and acceleration to get in the right place to score an easy goal.
Would definitely suggest picking him up and at only around 50k it is a ridiculous price for someone who is guaranteed at least 1 upgrade and is likely to get more.

Not much really- possibly a bit weak
I’ve bought Phillip for around 77k Coins on the market because I wanted an alternative for maybe a Werner IF. I’ve played with him in some formations (mostly a 4-4-2 with Sabitzer IF at his side), and I must say that he is an overall good player. The only downsides i’ve seen so far was the lack of strength when he is in a 1-on-1 with a defender and the lack of passing accuracy. Other than that he is a deadly striker in the box, fast paced player and I really don’t want to sell him again. In my current formation he is only on the bench as an substitute for Sabitzer, Reus or Hazard.
-fast paced
-deadly striker
-cheap alternative for Werner IF
-lack of strength in 1-on-1’s
-not a good passing accuracy
I must say when you first see this card it does not really stand out, at least it didn't to me. I decided to try him out when he got his upgrade because I saw a youtuber using him and he was saying very good things about him. For me in game he seems a lot faster and his dribbling is also very good. He rarely will miss a one-on-one with the keeper and stamina is never a problem as he has no defensive responsibilities. To conclude, he is very good grabbing more than a goal a game and his card will only get better!
- finishing
- shot power
- dribbling 90!
- ball control

(As of writing this review, his card is 84 rated)
I picked up Philipp as I am currently saving up for 89 Klose, and he performed above my expectations.
He delivered 11 goals and 7 assists in 10 games which is amazing as he had the likes of Reus, Gotze and Podolski behind him.
He had a slow start as I bought him with a hunter, his dribbeling was average and his finesse shots were not exceptional.
After 3 games I slapped a sniper on him, and that made a huge difference for me
.
His finesse shots and positioning became deadly and he he dribbeled with a lot more ease.
His passing was great, for a striker. This was also the main reason why I chose him over Werner's IF.
His pace was good, not outstanding but he was able to outrun defenders- That is, if he wasnt being bullied by them.
He was no good at dueling with any defenders, which is a con.
He furthermore had the issue of having too low jumping/heading stats which would've made this card a lot better than it already is.
Also, a con is his composure, which I personally had no issues with.
Overall a solid striker, he delivered for me but may be a bit pricey for his quality.
