Wow, just wow! I completed his Sbc and quickly implemented him in my squad with the anchor chem, so I could try him out in fut champs. And i was simply AMAZED
Let us just go through his stats:
PACE
His high acceleration makes him able to quickly get to his opponents. His sprint speed is also very nice!
SHOOTING
Actually, for a CDM his shots are pretty good. He scord me a bange of a longshot in the first game, and afterwards he scored a first-time volley in the 90th min in the second game. He is reliable when used in the offensive part of the game.
PASSING
Precise passing. That is just it. He hits his teammates, and nothing else to comment about that.
DRIBLING
His extremely high balance is godly compared with the high agility and ball control. He is pretty difficult to take the ball away from, so you wont have problems with him loosing the ball after intercepting it from the opposition.
DEFENDING
He is kante. Just cheap. Remember when Kante was a cheap 81-rated player back in fifa 16? That's Torreira now. He intercepts so many passes, and steals the ball from so many opponents - it is just unbelievable. Just do not try to win headers with this guy.
PHYSICAL
High stamina and high aggression? Very nice. He wont get tired quickly and his aggression makes him even more dedicated to intercept the opposition. His strenght is not amazing, but it is fine as it does not slow him down and make him tanky. With anchor, his strenght is just fine imo.

- 3* weak foot is a little con, because i prefer 4* weak foot. But it can be tolerated.
This guy is a cheap kante. Sure kante is better - but he 400k. this card is a stand in. If you have 30k and you want kante but can't afford him, do this card! This card is hard to define. He is fast for sure, but he is short. He is weak- but he is stubborn. He does things you wouldn't expect. can stand shoulder to shoulder with larger players. Can win some headers. Is fast. He can dribble and pass. He is a fantastic little player. Look at the stats. He is agile, aggressive, fast. He is short but you have to live with it.
I would not play him as a lone CDM. Pair him with someone else (I am currently with ndidi but will get the Swap Lerma soon.)
Pace - his sprint speed is average but his acceleration is fantastic.
Dribbling - his balance and agility are great. They make up for his lack of strength at times.
Passing - his passing range is fantastic as a CM or CDM.
Stamina - Fantastic stam.
Defending - Solid defensive stats. Great tackler and great with interceptions.
Strength, jumping + height - he can win headers and can feel strong but it isnt his game. He is short, weak and hasnt got great jumping. But he will fight for you every moment of the game.
This guy ist just insane. As I were so hyped for Futmas, I was a Little upset because Torreira didn´t get an Informationen, which I wanted to get for my team. Then I saw that there was Torreira as an SBC and Oh my I´ve never been so fast with an SBC. Lucas has it all. He is fast, if he´s not fast enough for you just fix it with Hunter. His physical stats are so awesome. He has just 69 strength but it feels way more. At the first Moment you think too: Hmmm 56 finishing is very bad. But I can say it isn´t it at all. Like I love this guy in my attacks. He cuts Almost everytime into the box and my oponnents are so surprised about it and they can´t stop him. He scored in his first DR games 5 Goals in 7 games which is very good for an Central Midfielder with 56 finishing. And defensively he is a Mini-Kanté. He intercepts so many Passes which helps you so much and you can Start Counter attacks.

I completed the Torreira SBC for around 21k, I had a few of the required players in my club. I slotted him in at middle CAM in the 4231. For the price, he was an excellent player. He reminded me a lot of N'Golo Kante because of his speed and height. He's got a cannon of a long shot, and I scored some insane goals with him in Division 4. A weird problem I had was his stamina, it says it is 89 but he seemed to run out of gas near the end of some matches. Keep in mind, I had him on the ball a lot in my play style, which could explain the stamina loss. Would def recommend for the price!

I was really looking forward to futmas because i was lacking of a nice box to box midfielder from the prem and as soon as i saw torreira i knew he was gonna end up in my team. i slapped a backbone on the card to boost his strength just a bit more than it would have been with a powerhouse.
after a few games next to pogba and fred i wouldn't really compare this dude to kante but rather to fred or jordi alba. he runs up and down the field to either "assist" the assister or to win back the ball from the opponent. and no you don't have to worry about his lack of strength - he compensates everything he misses out with aggression.
