Mathieu. the beast

As a Sporting fan I obvisouly had to try Mathieu, and he actually surprised me! I paired him alongside Varane and put an anchor on him and I felt my defense was very solid. Although I played Mathieu on 8 chem I can guarantee this card is pure CLASS! His defending was impressive, sliding tackles, standing tackles, marking, everything really. He is also very nice on the ball, even though his agility isn't the best. His passing is also very very nice, with 83 long passing and 79 short passing he is capable of starting your attack from the defense. In terms of pace, Mathieu is decent. His shooting is amazing for a CB and he is capable of scoring longshots. Only con I found on him was, obviously, his Jumping, a lot of times he gets outjumped by other strikers, besides that his physicality his solid and he can bully other players with his impressive 92 strenght. Another con you might find is options to link, but for me it was easy, as he is French and there are many options you can use. Another pro I'd like to point out is the fact that this card can get upgrade depending on Sporting CP's performance on the UEL knockout stage (hopefully we do good).

To conclude, this card, for me, is meta and, obviously, FUT Champions ready. Probaly the best cheap and affordable Center Back on FIFA 19 UT.
