Defending with a brick wall

I read a lot of negative remarks about this player or that you should use hime as a CDM. After I did the SBC I thought I waisted my coins but now he is the top dog in my defence. His interception statistic is low but believe me, you don't need it. Just follow your opponent and as soon as he wants to make a move he will walk against your brick wall.He is not as agile or aggressive like FB David Luiz but he usually plays as a last line of defence so that won't really bother you. He is also quit fast and will catch up with a defender that slips by. In the air no one is stronger, he wins every duel. Another great thing is that he never loses the ball. So if you recieve a poor pass from your goalkeeper or fellow defenders, don't worry as soon as the ball is in the proximity of the mighty Belgian you'r e safe. I used to play VVD on this position but this guy is so much stronger and practically impossible to beat in a one on one situation. For me absolutely one of the best defenders of the game.

TERRIBLE CB, GREAT CDM/CM

If you're trying to play this card at CB, you might as well be saying you want to lose. Don't let the face card fool you, the in-game defending on this card is T R A S H. The only way to make this card worth the money is to start in a 5 in the back formation and switch to 4 in-game. I play Lukaku as a CDM with Guardian Chem style and he is a TANK. All of his mediocre defensive stats are boosted by 10 and he turns into an instant monster at CDM. His high pace, shooting, physicality, and height in the midfield more than make up for the lack of defending. Once you fix him up with the right chem style, he can't be beat.
