Luka Jovic the serbian beast
By Labbisch, 25-04-2019

As a hardcore frankfurt fan and former owner of the FFS Jovic I obviously had to do this sbc. I use Jovic as right Striker in the 4-2-2-2 next to rashford potm with seedorf and eriksen behind them, as you can see here: https://www.futbin.com/19/squad/7120704 At first I want to say, that this card is a lethal weapon if your playstyle isn´t based on skills. His finishing, jumping, heading accuracy and positioning make him a striker that doesn´t miss. On addition to this is the 5* weak foot which makes this card perfect. In 9 games with him I scored 15 and gave 3 assists with him. Also: these stats are only from division rivals in division 3.

Pace 9/10

I used Jovic with an engine chemistry style which puts his pace on 92. He is a pretty fast player that can even run past defenders like VVD because of his pace and his strength.

Dribbling 9/10

With an engine chemistry style he can´t really lose the ball. As well you can feel his 92 agility and his 83 composure is pretty good as well. If you somehow manage to get the ball around the opponent´s box this guy will instantly react, because of his high reactions.

Shooting 10/10

This guy scores every chance he gets. Long shots, volleys and even noscope 360, everything goes in. If he wins the aerial duel against an defender you can be 99% sure that the header will land in the net.

Passing 7/10

Simple passes are really no problem for this guy. With an engine he can play some good passes as well, which makes him perfect for a 2 striker formation.

Defending N/A

Physical 8/10

With his 91 strength this guy is a freakin beast. He even beats defender like VVD or David Luiz FB. 82 jumping combined with his height of 1.81 make him able to score some headers as well. In my opinion the strength and the stamina are the biggest phyical upgrades on the FFS Jovic, this makes him worth in my opinion.

In conclusion i would say if you need a striker that has good finishing and can hold the ball as well you are completely right here. If you want to test him first go buy the FFS card and get in love with this big boy.

First of all, I haven't used any Luka Jovic card this year, so I can't tell if the "small upgrade" that some people are complaining about in comparison to his Future Stars card is justified.

I can just write about this card and boy do I love it!

I play him in a 4-1-2-1-2 in a Bundesliga squad together with Lewandowski at the front and I have to say that I haven't played a better striker this year! (played middle icon Crespo, POTM Kruse and some other lower ones)

His pace is really decent, if you put a chemistry style on him (which I did) he goes up into the 90s which can definitely be felt when he runs past defenders easily.

Don't have to say much about his shooting.. Simply incredible! Even without a chem style really really nice, with one even better! In combination with his 5* weak foot and the finishing abilities he has with both feet, he even outscores Lewandowski (which I didn't think was possible)

His dribbling is also quite solid but wouldn't consider it as extraordinary as the other stats.

Passing is imo good for a striker, can do the little passes back to CAM or other striker and then run away from any defender.

His physical stats are also something else! I also boosted it with a chemistry style which makes him a fast running, really strong, deadeye finisher who also knows how to jump and head the ball into the back of the net (99 heading accuracy).

His weakness is probably mainly the 3* skill moves, which doesn't bother me personally but has to be taken into consideration if you are a person that needs somebody up front with at least 4*.

Overall I can just recommend doing him, even though he is not that cheap. I haven't lost a game since I bought him and I can't wait to play him in the weekend league!

The 'Serbian Slayer'
By superal, 28-04-2019

Let me start with some context; I seldom write player reviews (I haven't written one since IF Di Natale on FIFA 13) and thus a player must've impressed me to write a review. I had been dealt a heavy defeat no thanks to Jovic hammering in goal after goal for the opposing player. I was prompted to check how you obtain this Serbain weapon of mass destruction and was extremely gratified when his SBC was only 150k (he has the stats of an icon for goodness sake). AFter great effort I weaved him innto my already very Baltic Serie A squad and I must say, he fits like a glove.

First game for Jovic, I not expecting to be able to tame the beast so soon after acquiring him. I couldn't have been more wrong. The Serbian Slayer put three past a helpless Alisson (a perfect hattrick might I add) utilising his 5* weak foot, his 99 heading and his 98 shot power. Next game, the Serb smacked in another three, scoring one so powerful it knocked Lev Yashin's cap off. Currently he has scored 11 in 9 games in the Weekend League and he is not showing signs of stopping anytime soon.

Jovic is no less an animal than he is a man. He is Public Enemy no. 1 of just about every sane goalkeeper, even Van Dijk has nightmares about him. I ask little of you as a fellow human and FIFA player, nonetheless, in this case I compel you to spend 150k to permanently acquire this weapon, or if the SBC has expired by the time you read this, I oblige you to try out the other version of this weapon (the 88 Future Stars Jovic) and enjoy scoring goal after goal until you grow weary of the Serbian flag that emerges everytime the net ripples.

Just some of the weapon's many pros:

Shot Power - 98 shot power, maintaining the fearsome trend amongst his Serbian brothers, the sheer power will chip the paint off the woodwork (if he hasn't already torn the net)

Finishing - 94 by default, chemistry styles will only enhance this

Weak Foot - 5*, dual wield cannons, the spherical object flies off both boots (which are bright yellow) with the same tenacity

Heading - 99, his head offers the same inexorable characteristics as his cannons

Strength - 91, has the muscles of Ser Gregor Clegane, he is a moving Iron Curtain

Dribbling - a surprise to me, smooth first touch and can take it round defenders with ease

Pace - like a famas, very fast for his build

Passing - is able to make quick and accurate passes, goes like bread and butter with an Eastern European strike partner ( I reccomend Shevchenko)

The minimal list of cons:

Stamina - occasionally tires towards the end of a match (don't worry his cannons still work all the same!)

Free Kicks - a puzzler, can find the top corner from anywhere in the opposing half, but not from dead ball scenarios? simple, just don't take free kicks with him

Aggression - a dissapointment, obviously hasn't fully matured into a man of steel like many of his Serbian brothers (Kolarov)
