Need a wall for your team? This is your guy. When I first saw this card I wasn't sure if he would be a good choice right before TOTS but honestly, him next to my 93 cannavaro and I feel so comfortable in defense. honestly, he is 100% worth the price and will make your team so much better. Just like in real life, he will completely revitalize your defense.

I will start by saying I'm a Division 2 player usually somewhere between Gold 1 Elite 2 in WL and the squad link attached is how I line up in game after switching tactics. I line up in a 4-2-2-2 to start for 100 chemistry.

This card is insane! If you have the money for him by all means send it! I've only used him for about 10-15 games now, but he is far and above the best CB I've used this year. This guy seems to have the pace of Usain Bolt when tracking back, the strength of the incredible Hulk going into tackles, the interception ability of Prime Darrelle Revis (For those of you who follow American football), and on top of this he has superb passing and dribbling ability which makes building from the back a breeze. I slapped an Engine chem on him to boost his pacing, pace, and dribbling since his defensive and physical stats are already ridiculous and he can even bang in free kicks like Pirlo or Messi for me! (Engine chem gives him 99FKA) Set pieces? Forget about it! It seems as if he's bouncing off a trampoline when going up for headers and is usually head and shoulders above opposing players. If he didn't have 2 star skills and a 3 star WF he would be a beast at essentially any position on the pitch! If you're looking for an end game CB, VVD is your man! Your opponents will hate playing you with this man on your side!

I have an untradeable TOTY VVD; why did I complete the SBC for a slightly better card? Because I could and because Virgil Van Dijk is the best defender in the game. Is the POTY card that much better than the TOTY card? No. Is he worth the price to upgrade your POTM or TOTY VVD? Probably not. But should you? Ab-so-lute-ly. Virgil Van Dijk does things that no other defender can do. He can blatantly murder any attacker and the ref will pretend like it never happened. He has the size and athleticism that no other defender can match. He is capable of scoring with his right leg at times and converts corners into goals at a high rate. He can dribble at a higher level than elite CDMs such as Vieira, Rijkaard, and Matthaus and is a better passer as well, all from the centre-back position. You will not find a better defender this year, but there are suitable partners for him such as FFS De Ligt, TOTY Varane, and TOTY Ramos.

45 Goals

8 Assist

3 Yellow Cards

The POTY card is on pace to better those stats in far less games played. If you don't have a Virgil card already, what are you waiting for? Don't miss an opportunity to get the best defender in the game for only 1 million coins weeks before his TOTS is released. You can't put a price on peace of mind.

I had never used Van Djik in Fifa before but i always came up against him in WL and Div Rivals. I wondered why everyone used him but now i know because he is an absolute beast, he never losses a header and seems to tackle every one. I would tell anyone to go and get him as he is totally worth the price i paid for him, he is a game changing CB.
