Watch out for the HAZARD!
By NiCeLiGht96, 24-10-2018

This guy is a BEAST. Honestly, if you dont have him yet. He is insane. Now I know what you might be thinking. There are a lot of options in the LW in the Premier League this year. We got Mane, Sane, Son, Martial, and Felipe Anderson. Even then it's only a few mentions. Me personally I have played with Mane, Son, and Felipe Anderson IF and non IF this year and let me tell you. Hazard is a complete beast compared to those guys. His balance makes it impossible to get him off the ball, and when you do get him off the ball he just recovers it. His shooting with the finesse is actually broken. This guy can cut the defense open by himself and just to a finesse with the right foot in the bottom corner. His ballhandling and keeping the pace with the ball is amazing. When I played with Mane, Son or Felipe Anderson they couldnt hold the ball like Hazard does. Overall Hazard is great player both in real life and on the pitch in FIFA. If you have the opportunity, I would definitely consider him in a Premier League squad.

  • Shooting (His finesse shots are sickkkk)
  • Pace. How can he keep up his pace with the ball I wont understand
  • Balance. Look at that balance with 94. He aint gon fall anytime soon.
  • His passes is much better than the normal LW.
  • He always runs back in defense. So many times he saved my ass from a RW that was completely open.
  • Runs all the way till the end of the game
  • Once he loses the ball and cant regain it, he wont keep trying.
  • Not very great tackles
  • Not great strength or phys. Easily pushed off the ball.

The Premier League God.
By Phillipistlow, 03-11-2018

The reason why i am writing this review is that Eden Hazard is too good to not review him. I bought his card for 470k on PC some weeks ago and he is an absolute god for me.

I started with the 4-3-3 (3) but then switched to the 4-2-3-1 playing him in CAM with baby Stoichkov as the striker and mbappe and gabriel jesus on the wings. I am a gold 1 to elite 3 player just that you know. For this card i used the chem style hawk.

First I want to talk about the cons of this card:

  • Physicality: Well hes is very weak with the base stat of 66 strength. I gets pushed of the ball by every player if you dont dribble around

your opponent. But I would never expect a Eden Hazard pushing of other players.

  • Stamina: Although he has 83 Stamina it feels much lower ingame. As playing him in CAM Hazard has to run around a lot. So at the mark

of around 75 minutes he gets pretty tired and feels much slower than before.

  • Defending: I think it is obvious why he isnt the best defender.

So these are the pros:

  • Shooting: You can bang everything with this guy. Literally everything. His finishing is amazing, his card says 84 but its 90+ trust me.

The same with the longshots, if you hit a green or yellow finesse timed fininish outside the box the ball goes in in 90% of the cases

if he doesnt get blocked. His finishing in combination with his 4 star weak foot is an absolute dream. It even feels like a 5 star weak foot.

  • Dribbling: His dribbling feels better than Messis dribbling. You can turn this guy whenever you want to and get around defenders easily.
  • Passing: His passing is very solid. Most of the time you can expect world class passes. But in like 5% of the times he may let you down.
  • Pace: Whether on or off the ball Hazard is rapid compared to other player with this pace. Also his 95 agility and 94 balance come into play here

what makes him seem so fast.

So as a conclusion I can say: Buy this guy if you can afford him and try him in CAM. The best player in that position i have played so far next to the likes of De Bruyne, Griezmann or Marco Reus POTM.

Eden Hazard - Frustratingly Inconsistent
By KBars2733, 08-04-2019

So, I use Hazard as an outside left CAM in the 4-2-3-1 formation, alongside FUT Birthday Willian and FUT Birthday Werner - the other 2 out perform him on a consistent basis, he seems to make the most simple chances and passes seem difficult.

Pace

Feels quick off the ball, in possession he may as well be running through treacle - regularly caught on the break by the majority of full backs in the weekend league, spent the majority of my Saturday afternoon in Lala's pocket. Definitely doesn't feel close to the 91 base stat on his card.

Shooting

His finishing is so, so inconsistent - I haven't seen anything like it. cutting in on his stronger right foot, it seems to be a flip of a coin whether he rockets it into the corner, or sends it flying beyond the far post. His finesse shots seem to be unusable, with the majority of them being comfortably caught, even green timed finesse's from within the box don't seem to trouble keepers. His Longshots are as his stats suggest, I have scored the majority of my goals with Hazard by tee-ing him up on the edge of the box and shooting first time - his shot power and long shots are by far the most effective of his shooting stats in game.

Passing

With the Maestro chemistry style, Hazard goes to 99 short passing and 88 long passing - I honestly don't know where EA get these stats from - his passing range does not feel anything like this in game, with the simplest short passes going astray. His cross field balls and his ability to switch the play is very good however, I have never had a problem with his long passing. His crossing is another rather major inconsistency - at times, it will be pinpoint onto Ronaldo's head, and he doesn't miss from those positions, but at other times he either fails to beat the first man, or it goes directly to the keeper.

Dribbling

By far and away the best aspect of this card. His turning is quick and sharp and the ball seems glued to his feet when not sprinting, his skill moves seem smooth and connection allowing, he is capable of gliding past players. I have been let down on several occasions by his first touch while he is sprinting, but I've had this problem with many players, so I'm not going to put this down as being him.

Defending

Unlike Mourinho, I don't expect to see Hazard running back and defending - there have been times where he has tracked back of his own accord and has put some good auto-tackles in, so I don't have any complaints about his defending stats.

Physicality

66 strength... although there have been times where Hazard has ridden challenges, against the TOTY VVD's of the world, Hazard doesn't stand a chance and will easily be nudged off of the ball as if he's not there. His stamina is definitely good enough for him to play on the left wing with stay forward on him, but as a CAM - I've noticed that he tends to flag around the 70 minute mark

Conclusion

I bought Hazard and IF Robertson to replace Gervinho and Alex Sandro - the only thing Hazard has that FUT birthday Gervinho doesn't is the 4* skill moves - Gervinho is free, taller, stronger, is much more clinical and always seems to be popping up in the right areas - if your team allows it, and if you have him, Gervinho is the much better option.

  • Incredible dribbling
  • Good finishing from outside of the box
  • 4* 4*
  • Inconsistent finishing
  • Poor strength compared to META defenders
  • Poor short passing
  • Frustratingly inconsistent in general

One Man Show
By Freatsworld1, 19-01-2019

This Man is something else.

I was looking for a good LW to add on my Serie A 4-2-1-3 so I asked myself: why not Eden Hazard?

So, thanks to the link with the other two belgian Serie A beasts Radja Nainggolan and Dries Mertens, i finally found a solution to put him in squad.

I was so excited to try him in this way and I started WL. In the first match I was like WOW. He scored on the first chance and got to my squad so many opportunity that I hadn't before.

Actually he scored 11 goals in 12 matches.

BEASTS

Pace, Dribbling, Shot

Probably his phisic.

For me It's not a problem, because I feel comfortable with not so tall players.

But if you are looking for a head jumper you are in the wrong place.

Not Worth It
By orfurlong, 22-03-2019

Wow. Probably one of my worst investments, as he is quite slow, has average shooting, and is knocked off the ball whenever he encounters a defender. I almost prefer 84 Felipe Anderson over 91 Hazard. Although his dribbling is 94 it feels nowhere near that of Neymar's 95 dribbling. Very disappointed.
