Playmaker

Willian is a fantastic winger. He has all the qualities I look for when choosing an attacking player. He is fast, agile, elusive, and his passing is excellent. He always finds a way to contribute whether he is assisting my striker or cutting inside to score a goal for himself. The only area I would say he lacks in is strength. While this has been a bit of a problem, he makes up for it with his speed, able to beat most defenders with pace alone. Overall, a great playmaker.

Great player!

Used Willian for a while now, and I think he is a great player.

At first i used him as a left CAM in a narrow 4231 formation with a deadeye chem style on him. He did great, got many assists from crosses to Icardi and Perisic, but i felt he did not score as many goals as i wanted him to. Even though hes got a 4* wf i just cant hit them finesses with it. After 25 games he had 29 assists but only 3 goals. I then decided to put a catalyst on him instead to make him absolutely rapid with 99 acceleration and 96 sprint speed, to boost his ability to make assists even more as i thought the boost of his shooting was unnecessary cuz he still did not score. Anyway, it was a great decision, as he was so much more useful with the catalyst.

After a while though, i switched over to a 4222 formation. I moved Willian to the left side, bringing back the deadeye chemstyle, and thats (maybe) the best choice of my entire fifa career. He bangs in finesses, normal shots and even low driven, and is able to make splendid crosses towards the box.

Crosses: Even without a chemstyle his crosses are great on both feet.

Shooting: On his right foot the shots are great, on his left theyre not that good though.

Dribbling: Everything in this category is great, except balance perhaps, which wasnt a problem at all for me.

Strength and Tackling: Surprising, I know but he was actually really solid in his tackles and his 60 strength felt more like at least 70-75.

Stamina/Workrates: 84 stamina and H/H workrates is perfect for my playstyle, and you dont have to sub hiim off unless you dont go into ET.

4*skills: Can do most of the skills, including the la croqueta which ive found very useful.

Jumping/Heading: His jumping and heading stats are just horrible, and you feel that ig. He doesnt win a lot of headers, and if you are into crosses to the far post hes not the guy you want to head the ball.

Weakfoot: As i mentioned before shooting with his left foot doesnt feel like 4*, more like a 3*.
