Budget KDB!

Since FIFA 19 came out not too long ago, I wanted to make a good cheap beast team that can relentlessly apply pressure on the opposition while dominating the field through possession play. In order for me to do that, I needed two midfielders (both LCM and RCM) that can more or less play box to box but when in possession, can launch the attack while still maintaining sufficient energy. As a result, I decided to buy Mateo Kovacic and boy was he a surprise!

Mateo Kovacic is a complete game changer in the midfield for those looking to build a decent cheap/borderline mid tier team. I purchased him for a fair price of 11,500 coins. Ever since I've played him, he completely does what needs to be done and in a very efficient and confident way. With 84 acceleration and 74 sprint speed (94 and 84 with Catalyst), he can easily explode from turns after receiving a ball and is very quick to make quick plays with. In addition, he his 88 vision and short passing makes it easy to keep possession and launch attacks with pin-point precision. That's not all though as his 80 agility, 85 balance, 89 ball control, and 88 dribbling make him a complete menace on the midfield giving you enough confidence to keep possession of the ball. His 78 interceptions,75 stand tackle, and 77 agression also make him perfect for regaining the ball if possession is lost. Lastly, his 82 stamina is a complete lie. He will work and give you quality from the start to the end of the final whistle. Combine it with his 5'10 height and H/H work rate with a 4* WF and 4* skills, he is literally a cheap Kevin De Bruyne. A complete workhorse who will be able to turn the tide of a game at any moment.
