Raphaël Varane Review

An amazing defender who deserves to be No1. Nothing gets pasts this wall. He is unreal. I tried Virgil Van Dijk, D.Sanchez, Azpilicueta, IF Bailly and Umtiti but this guy has been something else in game. All of the above defenders are really good this year, although, Rafael in my opinion is one step ahead of being the complete - best defender. Currently, i am playing him with an anchor chemistry style and he rocks! Does he worth 240k coins? For me? Yes! simply because he will take the ball from your opponent easily without even sweating. He makes my life easier and that's why i love this card.

Raphael Varane (MY FAVOURITE CB THIS YEAR)

Raphael Varane is my favourite CB in fifa and in real life as well this year.He is expensive for most of the people but he really worth this coins(200-250k).He is so fast, he can easy catch every player in the game even very fast wingers like Sane, Mbappe, Costa.He is absolutely amazing in defending and he has very goog strenght too.In game i feel his DEF and PHY much better than 86 and 80.His best stat is definitely his pace and he is tall (191cm), which is great too.I definitely recommend him, one of the best CB's in the game including icons as well, he is incredible just try him if you have the coins!

Best Player in the game!

Varane is the best defender i have used in every iteration of fifa. He is overall the best player i used in fifa 19 yet. His strength, Pace and Defending quality's have been massively important in all my games of the past weekend league. Thanks to him i got elite 3 for the first time ever.

Where do i even begin? I use an Sentinel on him and This card is absolutely stuning. i use him in a La Liga team which cost around 300 k. Varane has everything you need to have for an center back and much much more.

Amazing Pace. Can catch up easily with the fastest players

Good strengh. Not as good as VVDs strengh but its still very good.

He's one of the best defenders i have ever used in FIFA. For comparison lets say that

Kimpembe is an 7.5 / 10

Benatia is an 7.5 / 10

Manolas is an 8.5 / 10

And Varane is an 9.5 / 10

PACE: Gamechanging. I am able to play a high defensive-line thanks to this guy. Even if the opponent manages to send a through ball to Jaime Vardy he will catch the mofo and take the ball.

Defending: Tackles are CLEAN and i mean it. His reactions combined with his defending abilities and his pace make him almost impossible to play against.

Physical: He feels very strong with anchor. Does not have any problem dealing with strong strikers like Cristiano, Aubameyang, etc.

Passing and Dribbling: He feels much more comfortable than most defenders with the ball

Aerial threat

Price. Imo he's 100% worth 200k but for some people this may be a problem. Manolas feels very similar for 1/10 of the price.

Final words: I did not try Ramos yet so i can't say that Varane is the best non-Icon defender. But he is top 2, at least.
