Get Richarlison. For real. I specifically made a futbin account to write this review because I want everyone to try him, even people with millions of coins. He is one of the best cards I've used this FIFA. I have around 1,5 million coins but last week I decided to sell my team for a bit of profit and jump into the weekend league with an all untradeable team. All I was missing was a central CAM for a 4231 who could start at LW. I picked richarlison because he seemed like a fun card to use and cost below 1k coins. I put a marksman chemstyle on him mainly to boost his long shots.
I finished gold 1 and elite 3 with expensive teams, I am currently in gold 2 and have to win 3 out of my 4 remaining games to get gold 1 with the team I linked. Most of my goals have come from Richarlison, who puts everything away. Any decently timed finesse shot, doesn't even have to be perfect, from within 25 meters has about an 80% chance of going in, regardless of the angle. He doesn't have any problem creating space for a shot because of 5* weak foot which allows him to turn either way to go for a shot.Finishing from up close is a not a problem either, and he can hold onto the ball well thanks to his decent strength. The only downsides to Richarlison I've found are that he can feel somewhat clunky in small spaces, and his passing is a little bit off sometimes, which might cause trouble when you're facing a player who defends and pressures extremely well.
I have used the likes of Bale, IF Hulk, Son, Salah, Eriksen, De Bruyne and IF Reus at the central CAM position, and none have had a better record than Richarlison. He is currently at 39 goals and 17 assists in 35 games, all played in division 2 or weekend league.
No matter how many coins you have, give Richarlison a shot, use dragbacks to create space and use timed finesse shots whenever you are in space.
I will probably use him in a more expensive setup and see how he does in that, but from what I've seen I have no doubt that he will be great.
Ridiculous long shots
Good finishing
5* weak foot
4* skills
Decent strength
Dribbling (at times)
Passing (especially through balls, his short passing is fine)
Stamina. You have to sub him off in the 70th minute, sometimes even earlier, which is a shame because he really is the type of player that can clutch up towards the end of the match.
Richarlison is every thing I hoped for, his card stats do not serve him justice. While searching for a LW for my BPL starter squad, I was deciding between Bernard or him. I saw the biggest difference between the two were pace and dribbling. Something about Richarlison made me choose him in the end. I don't really know what it is about him, but he is extremely good. His stats don't show anything too extraordinary but equipping him with the "Deadeye" chemistry style and setting his instructions to cut inside is a game changer. The "Deadeye" chemistry style boosts his dribbling to 80, shooting to 82, and passing to 75 and his in-game overall to 81. I play him in a 4-3-3 formation with Sturridge and Shaqiri as his strike partners. In the 19 games I have played with him consisting of Division Rivals and Squad Battles on Legendary, he has been superb. Scoring 15 goals and assisting 12 goals. If he's not scoring, he's assisting. He is a player that is involved in every game. I highly recommend him to anybody looking for a reliable LW in a BPL starter squad.
