after using this card over fut champions (and just about missing elite ;C) I can confidently say that he is one of the most under-rated cards in the game. Sure he's not got blistering pace, but after applying a shadow he is more than quick enough to keep up with the majority of attacks, even late in the game. One of the major strengths of his card is his agility, with lt+rt or l2+r2 jockey defending being so effective in this game Bobby is by far one of the best at it, with 79 agility and 82 balance the man pings from side to side, stopping any player that tried to shimmy past him. Another key part of his card is his passing + composure stats, this specifically is the reason why i enjoyed his middle over his base card, he seems to never fail a pass or lose the ball under pressure.. Unlike other ball playing CB's he doesn't turn like a lorry with it's wheels popped. Absolute steal for 350k (at the time of writing), i would probably go as far as to say this card should be worht around 500k.

I'm a distinctly average FIFA player: I average Gold 2/3 when I do the weekend league; I watch episodes of the Simpsons while I'm playing and get occasionally distracted and give up an easy goal and laugh about it even though I'm mad; and reading about the META approach to playing this game goddamn EXHAUSTS me. I like using players I like for one season or another and can afford, and Bobby Moore's mid icon card for 5 swap cards? A bargain, as a Hammers fan.
Let's get this out the way: The pace will bother you if it bothers you. I put in the grind to get Moore, I invested in a Shadow for him. Is he rapid? No. Am I super-average at manual defending? hoo boy, you bet. Does Bobby have the cleanest tackles and crispiest passing of any CB I've used so far in-game? No contest. Thank god headers are messed up this year because his height is a non-issue 99% of the time. Pair him with a pacier or bulkier CB and you'll be happy.
That's IF you want him. I'm so, so tired of reading about tactics that will, at best, get me 16 wins in the WL instead of 14. Bobby makes me happy, and he's made my team better. More than worth decimating my Rivals skill score using a common gold Serie A team to finish his SBC off.
Tackling. 5'10 but I swear this guy has spider-man limbs.
Passing. never before has playing from the back seemed less foolhardy.
Positioning. Right place, right time. You don't even need to play on depth 1 drop back, Bobby has your back.
Pace, duh, but a defence is a unit, and some tactics and chemistry tweaks will make this card purr.
Get a haircut, hippie.
