Once you play with him, you quickly realize that Mbabu is an OP trend that is not sustainable long term. Piszczek is Mr. Reliable. His positioning is exceptional. He muscles anyone off the ball and his movement is perfect - easy to control and highly responsive. I used him with a shadow chemistry and he flies. He has really made the game more bearable. The pace spammers frequently struggle against him. He also seems to come out of those annoying FIFA entanglements with the ball. Every other RB I tried in the Bundesliga would lose those battles, which frequently led to the quintessential garbage goal.
Typically, I use the stay back while attacking player instruction. Despite this, I often see myself playing some give and go passing and running down the flank with him. I keep him on the opposite flank as Lewandowski and their link up is frequent and lethal. His early crosses always find the head of the striker.
- Pace
- Positioning
- Ball control
- Defense
- Crosses, especially early crosses
He is untradeable, which makes a pivot to a different league difficult in the future.
2 star skill moves, although not the worst as a defender.
This guy is insane, even for the price. Completed his SBC because I wanted to tried Reus, and I am not regretting my decision at all. Played him in weekend league, finished Gold 1, one win away from Elite 3 and this guy was a staple on my defense. Great positioning, feels amazing on the ball, and great passing. Don't think im going to change my RB for the next few months, unless I decide to get Zanetti for the Icon SBC.
- Defensive positioning - Seems to be on top of every player that receives the pass, and he never looses a strength battle
- Dribbling - One of the best fullbacks that feel great on the ball. Although I tell my players to stay back, whenever I see space I run with him and play a through ball to one of my attackers.
- Passing - I never cross, but I do short pass between my defenders and sometimes switch the play, and this guy never misplaces the ball.
- Speed - For me is not a problem, but if you enjoy attacking with your fullbacks Piszczek is too slow to recover and might be caught out of position. A shadow fixes and haven't noticed his pace (Take note I tell my fullbacks to stayback.)
