This guy is extreme! I use him as a cm in 41212(2) and Raphael can do everything. He runs from every other cm, he finesses the ball in the top corner whenever he wants, and he lasts the whole game. He is really good on the ball, feels kinda like Messi. The agility and balance make him so OP to have in the midfield. Especially with a big and strong partner. I would recommend the gladiator chemistry style on him to boost his shooting and defending. With that chem style, he will become a really good allrounder. I really recommend this guy in the midfield.
I got lucky enough to pack him and I build a team around him. I change formations often, but I normally start him at LCAM in a 4231. He's also pretty good as an attacking CM, but I don't recommend him at CAM with his weak foot. I used the basic chem.
Pace: Extremely quick off the mark.Nobody beats him in a quick sprint.
Dribbling: The best thing about this card is his dribbling. He feels incredibly smooth with the ball. His high acceleration/agility combo makes him effective to get out of tight spaces.
Shooting: His shooting benefits a lot from his dribbling. Most of his goals I scored were easy 100% chances. I managed to score some goals from distance. If you play him at CM, play him on the right, so you can curve the ball in from distance.
Defending: He's great at keeping up pressure. His defending isn't that great, but his pace makes him still useful at defending. He would manage at CM with a more defensive midfielder next to him.
Passing: He's a great allround passer. I had no problems with his passing and his crosses were deadly.
Physical: His physical was a bit odd (maybe because he's small and agile). He was definitely not strong but he sometimes managed to push some taller midfielders off the ball. His stamina is amazing.
Recommondation: His dribbling makes him a very fun player to play with. He's lightning quick with and without the ball. For me, he is the best Bundesliga option on the left side. He's a bit expensive right now (75k on Xbox), but I would pay that sum for him. Because of his weak foot, I can't give him 5 stars but I really recommend you to try him.
First thing: In game I use the 4-2-3-1 formation, no the 4-3-3 Im displaying on my squad link. In this formation, Brandt is my striker, Havertz is my LAM, Guerreiro is my CAM and Bellarabi is my RAM.
Guerreiro is a force to be reckoned with, he's the perfect storm. Low center of gravity, high agility, high balance, high dribbling stats, 4 stark skills and an acceleration that will get him going before your opponent has the chance to understand what's going on.
His left foot is the left foot of dreams, too bad he has only 2 star weakfoot, I won't say that it doesn't matter, he can score some goals with his right foot, but don't take your chance, it's better to cut inside and get the ball to his left foot, that way it's almost guaranteed that he will score.
As a CAM, I find him dropping deep between my CDMs (delaney and goretzka) and helping to win the ball in the defense, which he does pretty nice, since he has mediocre defensive stats, but has a high interception skill, I find that most of my offensive plays will start at his foot and will, ironically, finish at his food, 90% of the time inside the net.
Overall, at that price range he's a bargain, I can guarantee that no other LW or LM in the bundesliga will deliver what this card has to offer, I've used him in 57 games now and he has 66 goals and 53 assists, alone he has contributed with 119 goals to my team, which is A LOT.
I've got him paired with OTW Brandt up top, and the partnership is really nice, I recommend anyone who run a bundesliga side, to try this card.
+ Dribbling
+ Low center of gravity
+ Great maneuverability
+ GREAT finishing stats with deadeye
+ Nice defensive stats
+ 99 stamina, he runs the whole game and is never tired
+ Goals, goals and goals
+ Assists, assists and more assists
+ A true number 10 on the field
+ Good strength and heading accuracy for a guy his size
He's so unbelievebly good, When the card came out I literally bought it immediately. (for 80k atm). Because I got an higher budget later on, I moved on and sold him. Now, a few months later, I thought why not and bought him again. He still does the job and scored an hattrick on his debut in fut champs from CM position. Pls try this guy, I hope he does the same for you!
When EAjreleased the first team of the scream promo, this Guerreiro card immediately caught my eye. I had been on the lookout for a left wing for my team since Coutinhos OTW worked fine in the middle as my cam but on the wing he didn´t really do it for me, he felt slow and too weak to get past defenders and since I had just bought Griezmann in repleacement of Insigne that I had played at left wing, I already had a great cam, I thought I would just use Coutinho over the wing instead of the cam but In the middle he worked much better for me than on the wing. This Guerreiro, however, seemed to beat Coutinho in the important stats that are pace, strenght and passing. So since I had the coins to pick him up and try him out i thought, why not try him out for a few games. And so far he has not disappointed me.
He is one of the fastest players I think I have used in this game. The combination of his acceleration, agility and balance make him feel rapid. Add to this the best stamina in the game and you got yourself a player that can run up and down the wing the whole game long. His crossing is also good but since scoring from headers in this game is basically impossible, it won't really make a difference anyway. One thing I was concerned about with this card was his 2* Weak Foot. Though it really is a noticeable weakness with his card that limits its abilities a bit, the outside foot shot trait makes up for it a lot of the time. Basically every goal I scored with him has been cutting in from the wing and putting in at the far post with the outside of his left foot. Another stat that isn't all that good is his finishing with 76, which was why I put a sniper on him, getting that stat up to a 91 and basically maxing out his dribbling. With the sniper chem style his finishing wasn't a problem at all anymore, but I still will put it down as a con since, without a chem style I definetely felt the 76 finishing alot.
I know my goals per match ratio with this card isn't all to high, this is because it took me a few games to get used to the card, in the first 10 games he barely scored, now he is scoring nearly every game. This is also because I played him without a chem style the first games. If you want to play him at the left wing or left mid role, I reccomend to use the sniper aswell, his pace and passing doesn't really need improving and with the sniper the dribbling gets maxed out and it takes his shooting to a high 80, with 91 finishing. If you want to play him in midfield, which many people seem to do, I would give him a different chem style, maybe backbone or powerhouse or if you want him playing as a cam the deadeye seems the most useful. His assist ratio was also up there in the last few games, especially considering most of my assist come from Lewandowski or Griezmann trough the middle. Also - compared to both Bale and Sancho that I have used over the right wing, the goal and assist per game ratio is actually not totally bad. I also switched the formation from the 4-2-3-1 with the cam's to the "normal" 4-2-3-1 with wingers, and it worked wonders. Also tried him in the 4-1-2-1-2 in left midfield and he worked really well aswell, though I don't enjoy the formation all that much. All in all I wouldn't be too worried about fitting him in to a formation. With his stats he can pretty much play everywhere on the pitch anyway.
So to answer the question in the title, is Guerreiro the best left mid/left winger in the league?
With the somwehat limited options out there, this Guerreiro card is defenitely up there until Coman gets a special card or Coutinho gets another inform, pushing his pace up a bit more. If we are talking about position changes ingame, there a few more options. Reus, who I haven't tried yet will probably be as good or better and there are a few right wingers who would work well on the right aswell. Sancho, Gnabry etc. But if we are talking left wingers in their standard position, I think this Guerreiro is the best option there is. Are there better options out there? Sure. But for players with a limited budget this card is really good. At the cost of around 50-60k depending on the console at the time of writing, he is really quite cheap. For those coins you get a really good winger, central midfielder, left back or wherever else you want to play him.
One problem with this card though might be his linkability, there aren't all too many good portugiese players, unless you can afford Ronaldo. Joao Felix might be worth a shot aswell, though, without having tried him, I don't know if Felix will hold up long time because of his low rating.
At last I just want to say, hats off to EA for this years scream promo. I think everyone was a little dissappointed with their approach last year and therefore I, and I think many others, didn't really expect all that much, especially since the content in the first weeks of the game felt very lackluster already. But I have to admit, EA really did a great job with this and im excited to see how it continues.
Dribbling, Agility
Outside Foot Shot - Trait

Very good alrounder, can play anywhere on the pitch
Raphael Guerreiro, didn't really get an upgrade to his defending stats, but they are still very good for a LM because of his experiences as LB. I really needed a potential CDM for my team to work out, but it had to be another winger in order to fit in Ousmane Dembele. Luckily, with the Ultimate Scream event, this card was released. Playing CDM partnered with Axel Witsel he really impresses with insane acceleration, which will win you some sprints against Aubameyang's and Mbappe's and physicality which will even push Adama Traore off the ball. And the best thing is, he never has to be subbed off. With Axel Witsel, I'm having struggles with stamina when getting to Extra time, but this lad stays a beast for the entirety of the match. His passes are very accurate and his composure makes him very clinical, when he gets the chance. I even scored a few goals with his right foot, so it doesn't seem to be an issue.
So summed up, if you have the same problem as me, there is no reason to think twice. I even bought him for 80k, and still think he's worth it.
. He is the best Bundesliga LM I've ever used so far, I tried gold Coman and gold Perisic, and I don't think they have near the quality as Scream Guerreiro. He is pretty fast, nice dribbling, decent shooting (I scored some FK goals using him) and the best part, he can help you defend very well! His defending stats are already decent BUT in this card, he has 99 stamina which is incredible. He can keep running forward and going back into your defense so fast.
99 stamina
decent defending with anchor
incredible winger with hawk
very agile and hard to take down
for that stats, he is incredibly cheap
a must-have player if you have a Bundesliga squad
can play at cm if necessary
his 46 penalties is a minor issue that I could say
Firstly, i will start by telling you where i played him; a lm in a 3-5-2, his instructions being come back on defence, get into box and conservative interceptions. Guerreiro is someone to run the line, use skills with his 4* and use left stick dribbling, he has 91 agility and 90 balance. He can finesse shots, but can also drive them across goal. He can pass across the box, accurately cut the ball back and do driven crosses. Next, onto his defending. He can nip in and win the ball back, but sometimes his lack of strength will cost him when trying to burst into the challenge.
I bought Guerreiro for 75,500 coins. At the tine of writing this review he is currently at about 40,000. The first point about this card is that i don't regret waiting until he was cheaper! Id happily of paid 200,000 for him. I play him in game at LCAM in a 4-2-3-1. The other CAMS are POTM Harit and 87 Okocha. I can ensure that Guerreiro is the best out of the 3. He glides past players as if he is Messi and he also has 84 Physical which allows to shrug off a large amount of defenders and central midfielders. He does only have 2 star weakfoot, and sometimes i do notice this. However, other times he bangs it in with his right boot. He has the ability to score long range strikes, solo goals and of course the usual one on ones. His passing is solid, he can switch the ball with ease over to Harit and plays balls through to POTM Lewa nicely. He also has a few assists from crosses, although i wouldnt recommend putting him on corners as he is needed in the box for his finishing. Other players i have used at CAM and LM include Brandt who was sluggish and far worse than this Guerreiro. His 99 Stamina means you wont have to sub him off, he can go all game sprinting past players into stoppage time. For this reason alone he is a game changer for me. he can even do a job at CDM in the last few minutes if i need him to!
He is so fun to use and i look forward to playing with him. He is by far the best option for in game CAM,LM in the bundesliga and if you have the coins is also a great link for CR7. I can see myself using him far into the game (January, February at least) and after that i am sure he will still play a part from the bench.
