After months of waiting for EA to bring him back into the game, I was not disappointed to find that Gary had not lost a step up front for me, surrounded by all of his friends he caused the usual carnage with his right foot which is like a shotgun, generating ridiculous numbers in FUT Champions despite being surrounded by players who are rather awful in the grand scheme of things and constantly playing against broken centre backs like Van Dijk, RTTF Militao and Headliner Varane just to name a few. Futbin may read this and think it's a joke, but I promise you, this is a man who has scored in excess of 600 goals for me over 4 FIFA Titles. He is no joke. I don't even need to mention the fact I got him for 150 coins.
Pace: Despite a -8 in pace, he is still no slouch on the ball, since when he gets going, he is like a steam train. This combined with his strength makes him very difficult to dispossess. Solid 8/10
Shooting: Gary is the creme de la creme of finishers that I have used in FIFA since I moved over to Xbox One. Players like Prime moments Henry, 96 Griezmann and Diego Costa can't hold a candle to this man's ridiculous conversion rate and precision finishing. The easiest 10/10 I will ever give. Every type of shot that you can comprehend, he can do it, even with his weak foot.
Passing: Rarely makes an error, but I honestly don't pass the ball much with him since he tends to do most of the job on his own going forward, but on occasion if he needs to find Ryan Kent or Joe Lolley on the wings he is usually able to do so without error. Another easy 10/10.
Dribbling: Ball often sticks to his feet like Glue and people have witnessed him turning quality centre backs inside out with a drag back. That being said, it isn't perfect, but it really isn't far off. 9/10 for me.
Defending: Not really relevant but still does a good job of chasing the ball down and heckling centre backs, if not the whole back line. I do recall him once disposessing TOTY Van Dijk and sticking it bottom corner, so pretty good overall. 7/10
Physical: His strength allows him to hold off defenders of any quality, disregarding their own physical stats. He's also no stranger to rising above centre backs and powering a header into the bins. Absolute Don. 9/10
Literally everything except for his stamina and maybe a bit of pace.
