When the Base Icon SBC came I was quite excited as I saw the slight possibility of packing the likes of Cruyff, Maradona, Pele or Eusebio. So I took the gamble as I was already happy with my team and thought it would be fun to try. When I got baby Gullit I was super happy as as far as I could remember he was redeemed to be totally overpowered and great on any position in any situation.

I started playing with him at striker as I wanted to see how OP the man actually was, as I focused so much on scoring with him I did get a few goals in. But when the weekend came Id realized that i had to play my best so I pushed him down to RCM where he played on a hunter chemistry style next to Fabihno and IF Wijnaldum. I wanted to see him fluroisch and have the freedom on of helping in attack but still being able to contribute to the build up play.

What Ive realized after 3 weeks of playing him is that he really isnt good enough for any position :

At CM he is too bulky to make a dribble or even have the reaction time to play a sufficient pass as he always does it with massive amounts of delay. His physical is very underwhelming as you would expect the near 2 meter giant to be able to body midfielders.... HE DIDNT. There were numerous instances of him being pushed of the ball by a raheem sterling or a Salah. It was enraging to see that on a game to game bases. He also lacks stamina so he cant even play through 90 minutes

At striker and CAM he is just not usable due to his slow reactions and bulkyness.

lastly at CDM you would expect him to exceed and be able to make tackles and interceptions.... He didnt. Often missing the ball as he is too slow and having terrifying positioning letting their CAM go wild.

Overall this card has been incredibly disappointing and I can honestly not suggest buying or using him under any circumstance. A IF Wijnaldum who is more than a million coins cheaper is much better in every sense and lets not even start on how much better Sissoko is.

Just packed him in an icon sbc. I was really enjoyed to put him in my squad. I play in div 2 and I make Gold 1 everytime in WL.
