Player Review
88 - SIF
It is Thursday morning, opening division rivals gave me absolutely nothing so I was hoping my luck would change with the fut champs (especially player picks). The first player pick was this shiny-toothed Brazilian and I was immediately surprised by how his stats looked. I have had Neymar on 10 ig and was thinking that much about changing that, but I have decided to give it a go in div rivals to see if this could be a potential super sub.
I used Coutinho on the 10 position and moved the Ox to the left-hand side, Gnabry on the right and Salah as a striker. What a beast this card is! I decided to give him a deadeye (boosting his shooting and passing), because I already thought his dribbling was amazing and his finishing could be improved. I guess if you are using him on one of the sides a hunter would be preferred.
His playmaking, his vision, his ability to hold the ball against big defenders such as Rio is what amazed me. I think overall this card played better for me on the 10 position than Neymar, which is amazing for his current price of 110K. The only difference between the two is the stamina and the weak foot in my opinion (pace is not that important on that position).
- Dribbling
- 4* WF + 5* SM
- Finishing (keep in mind the deadeye)
- Passing (vision mostly)
- Stickiness of the ball onto his feet
- Linkability
I think overall this card very good. The acceleration made him feel very quick even though his pace does not look great. The finishing got a cheeky +15, which made his finishing go to 95. The agility and balance combo (94 and 95) made his dribbling outstanding, being able to turn in pretty much any situation to the complete opposite direction. The vision and positioning both being 99 made sure that Coutinho was always on the right spot in the 18-yard box.
- Stamina
His stamina is decent enough to play a fool game if you make sure you keep him forward and do not use him to get a challenge on the opponent's CDM's. As I mentioned, I do not think that his card lacks any pace on the 10 position, but I guess that is due to my playstyle (I keep him on the box and do not use him to get in behind against varane with a shadow).
