Baby Socrates Will Make You Happy

Is this guy META? I don't care. 11 Icon Swaps token is a bargain to unlock one of the most unique players in the game, and one of the most fun to play with, too. Baby Socrates' balance might be low, but his strength, composure, and ball control still makes him one of the most dynamic CAMs in-game, his long-range shooting is unreal, and you've never played a silkier pass in all your time playing this cursed game. The man himself was known for no-look backheels and thank God, that carries over to this card, whose first-time through balls are irresistible, regardless of angle or positioning. I will never be a GREAT FIFA player, but this card makes me believe I'm actually playing a fun game again.

Passing. Nuff Said

Long shots. Could do with a little more curve on his finesse shots, but he's still a monster when your strikers are misfiring.

Dribbing. Hold down L1 and watch your opponent panic.

Tackling. 6'4 = unreal reach, regardless of defensive stats.

Pace. Still feels sluggish even with Engine. Requires pacey, agile players around him.

I'll start with saying that I was largely underwhelmed with the selection in Icon Swaps 2 so had the attitude that you couldn't really make the wrong choice. I needed a CAM so it was between Socrates and ADP. I took the former because he was available sooner, allowed me to get another Icon and is a very unique player on the game.
