A dream gone wrong

Like most of the people who use him, I packed him in the prime icon pack. At first, I was confused since i didnt know how he would work on my squad, since I had Luka Jovic 87 as my main striker and I really liked to play with him, but since Shev is an Icon, I decided to use them both in a 442 with gold Griezmann and Hazard backing them up. The result was me struggling to reach gold 2 when I usually reach gold 1. He just isnt what the stats say. I tried playing with him in every single chem style possible, but in all of them he feels clunky and awful on the ball. The only nice thing on this card is its shooting, since with him, if you finesse outside the box its most likely to go in. Then I swicthed to a 4231 with him as the striker, slapped a hunter on him and I thought I was good now. Well, he played okay there but with 98 pace you would expect for him to run across the defenders, something he doesnt. After not reaching gold 1 again I decided on bringing Jovic back, which resulted on me almost reaching Elite. Dont use Shevchenko unless you have to.

His finesse shots are great

He has got great free kick accuracy

Kind of lasts the whole game

Pace isnt what the stats tell you

His dribbling is probably one of the worst of the players ive used

His short passing is not good, long passing even worse

A mixed bag

When i got shevchenko from the prime icon pack i was very sad and pissed off, but he isn't too bad. Most people would give him an engine chemistry style and that's initially what I did, but he was just too slow. After switching to a hunter, he is quick, and the most clinical finisher i have ever used. 99 or 98 on all key shooting stats with hunter. however, this guy cannot dribble.
