He's decent.. BUT

Usable, or not....??

I mean, look at it! Great! But at this stage of the game, that pace hurts to play with. He is a born predator, but his pace just doesn't cut it. Not to mention, EA reaaally messed up his physicals.. IRL he's a beast, unpushable, un-body-able. However, his balance and agility in game make it possible for him to fly into the stands with juts one good clean push. Thats why i use him in 4321 to make sure he is the prime man to smash the goals, not really dancing through the penalty area and skilling his way past. That's why i have agile midfielders, all cause of ilicic. He is worth it all, but keep in mind he needs agile partners to do all the grunt work, and some physical boosts.

His heading is probably the biggest surprise. 74!? But in game he is a beast..... no words else. Gosens and bernardeschi slowly ease the ball in the air, and his height makes it possible for him to smash the ball past everyone.

Close, but not good enough (89 UPDATE!!)

Packed him right after his hat trick, so I figured I'd keep him over the weekend and try him out. I don't mind "off-meta" players, so trying him in WL wasn't an issue for me, and his stats looked pretty good. I thought this card had hidden gem potential. ...he's okay, but that's about it. Okay so I got Ilicic in my red picks and originally was hesitant to use him because I already had RB Aguero (who is my favorite player). I decided to give him a go in my squad as a Target Man with the Hawk chem style to facilitate Litmanen and Lewandowski.
