I wasn’t sure about this, he doesn’t really have much pace but everyone playing drop back pace is vital on the wings but less so when it gets crowded in the middle. Anyway I bought him in for 19k initially as a stop gap so I could upgrade elsewhere, I sold firmino as needed better defenders. I’ve been presently surprised with him and he’s great value. With 4 star 4 star and high/med workrates this is a fabulous base for a CAM, I added deadeye he goes 96 positioning, 89 finishing and 95 power. I find power more effective than finishing this year, and with his 96 vision and 95 Short passing he is really effective at picking out players and getting assists 87 agility and 80 balance, 80 dribbling but 71 reactions are just ok but you could up these and have the passing drop a little with sniper. I had Firmino at 100k and he wasn’t noticeably better IG than Maddison so for me at 20k he’s a bargain

The Tots that should've been

I've used all of Maddison's cards up till now. I've liked every one of them. I probably was the only one that actually wanted him to get his tots and, of course, I was disappointed when he didn't receive one.
