Fantastic in the air, played in back four with Sule, Alaba and Kimmich with Witsel sat in front.

Easily pushes attackers off the ball and great when chasing down the attacker

Played on normal depth and defensive line, only reasons players got in behind was when chasing the game.

Didn't feel clunky or hard to manoeuvre.

Only complaint is that you can't have him play in retro Milan kit.

Strength - easily pushes off players on the ball

Positioning - always in the right spot to pick off the ball or to block shots

Easily links in all teams

You realise your defender is Nesta and you can easily stop attacks

We used Nesta in the 4231 and 41212(2) formations for 50 games (30 WL + 20 Rivals) The result was as expected he was the best defender at the back, we used him along side Marcelo, Eder Militao and Serge Aurier IF at the back and Areolla at goal.
